I would come here every year with my family. It's such a special place to me. Ships come through this area from other great Lakes (Lakers) or from the ocean (Salties). They have the Maritime Museum with many exhibits. You can walk up to the different lighthouses. Many shops and restaurants all around. You can also walk over to the Vista Fleet and go on their boats to get a tour of the area. Always something to do. There are many hotels along this area. You will find surfers in the morning time, enjoying waves when...

Canal Park is a highlight of any trip to Duluth. Several fantastic hotels to stay at, wonderful restaurants and lots of shopping. I would definitely recommend the Canal Park Brewery, Chachos taqueria, Old Chicago and Love Creamery for food. If you have kids, there are lots of family friendly businesses, including Adventure Zone. Parking can be problematic, but that’s the price you pay for being incredibly popular with tourists and locals alike. Definitely worth checking the event schedule at The Decc while you are in Duluth. You may be pleasantly surprised with the entertainment...

You could spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours exploring! For a longer visit, eat lunch at one of the restaurants and walk up and down the street checking out...
