310 Pub — Restaurant in Duluth

If you need a fun a place to go? Need some drinks and some good appetizers? Then this place is the place to be. My fiancé and I came to Canal Park in Duluth to have some fun. As you come in this place has a hip atmosphere, a full bar, which we gladly took advantage of while we played bean bag toss and a few games of pool. The first bartender as we came in got our drinks right away. Those Moscow mules were awesome! Shortly after it appeared they had a shift change and it was difficult to get more drinks, mostly because the bartender spent a lot of time on her cell totally ignoring customers until it dawns her, “oh yea, I have customers and a job to do.” I find it really rude that a bartender would spend so much time on their phone because honestly I’m here to have fun with the wife and have a few drinks. Apart from that this place is a lot of fun, they have darts, pool, crane machines, bean bag toss, and other things to keep people entertained. I would definitely say it has the college vibe over anything else. I wouldnt bring kids here just because it’s not the former family restaurant it once was, but I would bring my wife, my coworkers and friends out here for a good time. Amazing food. We are visiting from the cities and went here 2 nights in a row out of our 4 day stay, mainly because we didn’t find this place until our second night. The chicken wings the first night was very meaty and DELICIOUS! I’d recommend the garlic buffalo and heat seeker sauce. The Nashville Hot was delicious as well but not as hot as expected. Our second night, I ordered wings again. The wings came out dried, cold, and was mainly just bones. We talked to the waitress and she had the cook make a new batch. The new batch came out way better and FRESH. We appreciate the fact that they were willing to make new ones especially with how busy they were that night. The bulldog burger is one of the BEST BURGER! I’d say do it! The only thing I did not like about this place was how the pool table and ping pong table was set up. They have a table, pool table, and the ping pong table too close to each other, so it was hard to make some shots (at the pool table) without worrying about hitting others who were at the table or playing ping pong. Overall, I’d still recommend this place! We were given great customer service both nights!

P.S. HUGE ONION...

I understand that this place has only been open a couple of weeks, but the experience was pretty dismal. First off they tried serving a diet Pepsi that was pretty much syrup and nearly flat. (I would think they could figure this problem out within a couple of weeks?) They may also consider getting trays or teaching the server to use trays to carry over beverages to a large group and not one at a time. The server was very nice, but you could tell had absolutely no experience in her position. They should also consider sending their cooks out to culinary school and that it's not a culinary experience to cook a burger until it's devoid of all fat and resembles a hockey puck, then let it sit until properly cooled. This place could seriously use a manager to help improve things. We got there at the very moment they opened, with no one else and it took 2 hours to get out. With the lack of direction and management, I question if the owner is truly interested in providing a quality establishment. I'm guessing the 5 stars on FB is being written by close friends and doesn't really represent...
