Went here because of the rating but left confused. It's a dump, and the food was kind of icky. Chips and salsa were flavorless. The pork carnitas were flavorless. Pork carnitas should be chunks of pork, but these were shredded and tasted as if they had been boiled and unseasoned. The Chile rellenos had an odd flavor, and yet they were bland. The only good thing we had was the Chile Colorado. That was tasty. For 3 Entrees, 1 appetizer and two non alcoholic drinks, the bill was over $80. I do not recommend this place.

Stayed in Duluth for the weekend and decided to try Emilianos. The place is simple, but I went for the food, not the atmosphere. The food is delicious. I had the fajitas Emiliano and my son had the chimichangas. Extra points for presentation with a tower of skewered shrimp in the middle of the fajitas! The horchata was also fantastic. Not too crowded for a Friday evening, but a steady stream of customers. Check it out if you're in Duluth and are jonesin' for some Mexican food.

I went in to Dine inn and no one was there. Im so confused why we where the only ones there. The food is fresh and delicious and fast! the service is amazing of course we had the owner for a server so that was nice! I think it's also amazing that he was helping! I have a picture of my food although I took it after I started eating but wow I definitely will be going back! I hope business picks up for then to keep them around

READ THE REVIEWS FIRST! We picked this place for the reviews. I didnt read them just looked at the google rating. BIG MISTAKE. We walked in and the place was run down. We were hoping for a diamond in the rough. The chips were stale and the queso had a funny after taste. We both ordered the same burrito. It immediately had a funny smell coming off of it. The tortillas were a different color than normal Mexican restaurants and they were hard to cut through. We were the only ones there and got our food in less than 5 minutes, but both burritos were some how luke warm. The first bite I took, a rancid fishy flavor attacked my taste buds. I spit it out and smelled the shrimp and it had definitely gone rancid. The chicken and steak were both rubbery. We took one bite and couldnt finish it. There are a ton of 5 star reviews and I doubt...

Worst take out Food/service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered Vegetarian dishes for my wife and I. Came to pick orders up and the Hostess/ Waiter appeared to be Drunk and talking to friends. He did not greet me or give me my order. I had to grab it off the cart next to the kitchen. Hostess looked at me, turned around and continued talking to his friends. We get back to our hotel and take out our food and it was not Vegetarian, there was a bunch of ground beef inside one of a tacos. My wife ordered a Vegetarian taco salad, and there were a few pieces of steak inside. We ordered French fries and they were cold and not cooked all the way. It was the most disappointing disgusting 🤮 food we’ve ever purchased. I really wish I would’ve checked my order before leaving this place I would have requested a refund, that’s...

This is the best Mexican food in the area and it's not even close! Blows everyone else out of the water!

I had the el pastor and lingua tacos and they were so flavorful and rich. Definitely street style! Served with some spicy sauce on the side (actually spicy, not Minnesota spicy)

Finished up the meal with the housemade flan and it was also a must!

The server was super friendly and welcoming!

I LOVE the homage to the Zapatas and Poncho Villa! A fantastic theme with rich Mexican history!

I would like to see them make the space a little cozier, a nice comfy place to grab a beer or marg but they are new so give them some time. That doesn't matter when the food is so great, to be honest.

We don't make it to this part of downtown often...
