Eating at Denny’s has always been a comforting experience, but this time, it was exceptional. My family and I decided to drop by for a early morning meal, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.
We were seated quickly, and that’s when we met Cody, our waiter for the night. From the very beginning, Cody made us feel right at home. His friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm were contagious, immediately putting us at ease. It was clear that Cody not only enjoyed his job but took pride in delivering the best possible service to his customers.
As we perused the menu, Cody offered helpful suggestions, His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. I decided to go with the Lumberjack Slam, while my family opted for the Grand Slamwich and the All-American Slam. Cody assured us that we’d made great choices and even suggested a couple of sides that complemented our meals perfectly.
The food arrived promptly, and it was nothing short of amazing. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bacon was crispy just the way I like it. Cody checked in on us multiple times, ensuring that our drinks were always topped off and that we had everything we needed. His attentiveness was something you don’t always find, even in the best of restaurants.
But what truly made our experience stand out was Cody’s ability to make us feel like we were his only table, despite the restaurant being fairly busy. He was engaging and personable, It was clear that he genuinely cared about making our dining experience a memorable one.
As we were leaving, Cody thanked us for coming in, and we couldn’t help but thank him for making our morning so enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond in the way that Cody did. His exceptional service turned an ordinary meal into something special, and we left Denny’s not only satisfied with the food but also with the experience.
In a world where good service can sometimes feel like a thing of the past, Cody at Denny’s reminded us that there are still people out there who take pride in what they do and genuinely care about their customers. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Denny’s and asking for Cody. You won’t be...
Read moreTrey, my server consistently provides outstanding service Everytime I've gone to Denny's. This is true if I've gotten in the middle of the night (when I couldn't sleep and just needed a safe place to hang and a friendly ear) or first thing in the morning at 5:00 am, when I'm up and running and ready to plan out my day with my calendar and daily task planner. I can sit there. With my coffee and eat a delicious inexpensive breakfast that I often order from the senior menu. I also get a 15 percent discount by submitting my AARP card with the Denny's ticket. What I really like now is something new: coffee carafes the servers including Trey put right on customers tables. This is so us customers can por our own hot coffee whenever we want it. We don't have to wait for the server whom might be busy with other customers. Brilliant idea. And the wait staff don't have to keep coming by with the coffee pot ,disturbing me from my concentrated planning tasks to ask if Zi need more coffee. Plus, Zi like how some tables have electric sockets so the customer can charge or plug in their screens ( phone, tablet computer,). Excellent management tools the owners/ management have provided their staff and customers. Would like to see more tables with charging sockets however when restaraunt becomes...
Read moreWe brought the family up for a weekend out of the city and breakfast at Denny’s is a fun break from the stuffiness of a hotel breakfast. Our server Cody was top notch and he was super accommodating for our kids and made sure we had enough space to not be a nuisance to other guests. He was fast and friendly with everything! He also kept a good eye on your dining room and in the friendliest way possible stopped some would be dine-n-dashers! I wasn’t sure I was actually witnessing what I was but it was the real deal. A pair tried slipping out the side door and Cody chimed in with a smile and let them know their check could be taken care of up front and to head to the front to pay. They laughed and said they left him a tip and to not worry about it. He thanked them and hoped their meal was good and that they could cash out up front. There was an awkward moment of who was going to break first. His friendliness and direct attention couldn’t be ignored and the pair walked up front and paid. Wild! The nicest shut down to a dine-n-dash I’ve ever seen! Great...
