Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Ellisville

I placed an online order during rush hour--fine. I get it. HOWEVER this JJ's is less than 1 mile from where I ordered and it took 50 MINUTES for my sandwich to be delivered. After about 40 minutes (I gave them the benefit of the doubt) I called and asked about my sandwich. They said "she's right across the street." Fine. Ten minutes later she shows up with my sandwich.

Next time I wanted JJ's, I drove there myself and went through the drive through. I ordered my sandwich and chips and when I got to the window I discovered that the girl who took my order didn't hear me ask for chips. Or she forgot. I don't know. So I get to the window and inform the guy handing me my sandwich that I definitely asked for chips. He just gave them to me, and I took them since I felt I should be compensated for my 50 minute delivery the last time I bought there. This trip--getting there, ordering, and back--took 10 MINUTES. Sure it wasn't rush hour, but still. Ten minutes.

I dread buying a sandwich from here again because I don't trust that A) I'll actually get it and B) that it...

They must have hired all the entitled, rude kids from the now closed Ballwin store.

My experience going through the drive through: I drive up, the kid yells “Jimmy Johns!” As if he’s perturbed that I bothered him at his job. I order and he cuts me off as I’m talking and says “pull up to the next window” Another kid opens the window and stares at me, no greeting, doesn’t even say the price, just stares at me with his hand out. I hand him my card, he closes he window, runs it, opens it, hands it back, not one word. Then he hands me my sandwich and chips. I ask for them to be put in a bag, which you’d think they’d do anyway, he rolls his eyes, slams the door shut, throws them in a bag t sets it on the window counter and walks away.

My guess is that they’ll go under the same way the Ballwin location did. Jimmy Johns has good sandwiches, but not good enough to be treated as a burden for giving them...

I only gave 1star because of their delivery radius. Per GPS I live 1.4 miles from the store. They deliver to Pierside Lane, but won't drive another .4 miles to Old State Rd and deliver to the Oaks at Ridge Meadows subdivision. I managed to talk to a manager once who knew exactly where we are and agreed to deliver... that was the one...
