I highly recommend avoiding this place . On the 4ht of July at 10 pm I went to Jamisonās with two friends, when we walked in the guy at the door didnāt even look at my friends Id. I had mine out and ready to go when the ābouncerā guy looks at me and says Iām not allowed in?? Iām too intoxicated to go into the barā¦. I was DEADASS SOBER⦠he said I was stumbling aroundā¦. It was cold outside and I was wearing a skirt and tank top so yeah if I was stumbling around itās because I was shivering my ass off. Tried to tell him multiple multiple times that I was not drunk or impaired but he wasnāt hearing it and made me leave. Iām just not sure why that happened Iāve called Jamisonās twice and left a voicemail for them to call be back but I havenāt heard anything from them. If ur gonna have someone judging my intoxication level at the front then you need to have a god damn breathalyzer because this whole situation is so ridiculous. Swear on the Bible I hadnāt had anything to drink and I was really looking forward to spending the 4th at the bar with my friends. Didnāt get the name of the guy at the fire bc he really had me speechless and shocked bc I thought he was pulling a prank on me but he had mousy brown hair that was long...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible experience. I have a phobia of public spaces, especially bathrooms, I even have a service animal for PTSD. I went to Jameson's at approximately 8:30pm Tue, July 23, bought a beer, and went directly to the bathroom. The men's bathroom is very small and only has one toilet, with no stall, a urinal directly across from it, and it doesn't lock. This is not good for me, to put it shortly. I used my service animals leash to fashion the door shut, and halfway through my poop, a bar employee started violently yanking on the door and yelling at me to open it. I told him that I was mid-deffication and he said to open it anyway. So I carefully waddled over to the door and unlashed it, and he immediately yanked it open and yelled that I need to leave. I told him I have to finish pooping and he hesitantly closed the door and stood right outside, rushing me. Thank God I had my service animal or else I might have had a breakdown. Truly a traumatizing experience. Will...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePretty chill atmosphere, friendly bar staff. Beware of the overly aggressive door man. All black clothes, unkempt beard, white, not very big. I won't go in if he's working. Starlight lounge gets my $100 tab + tip.š EDIT; saw the door guy, flipped him off and he yelled as I walked away "I loved your review on Google!" I was walking from a few doors down, I'm a disabled person, I had a glass in my hand. This man came out of Jameson's and grabbed me. He didn't say anything. I was scared, turned my body away, trying to dodge this random silent man. He persisted, tossed the beverage by grabbing my injured wrist and shoving it aggressively toward the street. He didn't say who he was or what he was doing, he just came out of a closed door and grabbed me. He took the glass from me, headed inside, and said the sidewalk was "private property." Long story short; a man grabbed me, hurt me, and left whilst being employed...
