I have not been here since 2008 and lemme tell ya, still pretty banging after all these years. Started off with a mastiha tonic and a cypress cucumber. Oh man that cucumber really complemented everything we had throughout the evening. Then came a Saganaki, beautiful breaded fried cheese with an overdose of fresh squeezed lemon juice. On what seems to be house bread, it all worked. We got the arni souvlaki and the psari marinato. The lamb was cooked pretty well so slightly chewy, i wouldn’t use that cut I’d make more of a meatball but still really good. The Oregon snapper wasn’t what i had anticipated. All the flavors and textures were incredible but would have love to see the whole fish instead of two filets. Maybe i won’t wait 14 years to come back. šŸ˜ššŸ¤ŒšŸ½

Cutest leather bound drink menu - detailed list of all the unknown liquors. Massive points as someone with allergies! The Poppi's Pom Collins was so light and refreshing after a long day. My partner got the house brewed Hibiscus Iced Tea that was rich and full of flavor. The atmosphere is so beautiful with a low light and natural color tones in the wood and rich red tones around the decor. Some nice mellow music to wind down a long day. The food was excellent and did not disappoint. They will be going over to Greek food and away from Indian, we got the gyro plate and the vindaloo chicken curry. Great flavors and a great chunk of bone in chicken in the Curry. Absolutely wonderful little place, glad we found it

This is a sweet family-owned restaurant. I had the gyro for dinner it was an absolutely amazing combination of lamb and beef, Served with lettuce, tomato, and, onions on the side which was fantastic with a pepper as well. We shared two appetizers which were very pleasant and deliciously homemade. And we followed up with two desserts a rice pudding and a cake of some sort that was absolutely rich and divine. Our service was very personal to ensure our satisfaction every guest I saw leave the restaurant seemed happy as can be. I had the Taj mahal beer. I don't see this beer served in very many restaurants so I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the great service!!

Great food, delicious Greek appetizers and Greek fish dish. Cute atmosphere.

The worst service of my life. Passive aggressive wait staff, or perhaps management? I’m unsure what her role is, but I have never been treated this way in my life.

My friend and I arrived around 8:50. Closing time posted on google is, as of writing of this post, 9:30pm. Closing time on apple maps is, of writing if this post, 10pm. We ordered and were told, when our food came, that we could take our time eating.

I asked for lemon, politely, for the fish dish. I was told there were no lemons because the bar was closed. Obviously there are lemons in this restaurant, and obviously for some reason she did not want to give paying customers (one of us a repeat and frequent customer) a lemon slice for some reason. I find it incredibly hard to believe that she could not find a lemon slice in her restaurant.

Exactly at 9:30, or perhaps 9:29pm depending on your watch, we were told she could not keep her dishwasher longer and she needed to clear our plates. The tone in which this was said is not what I, or anyone, should expect from an establishment that thrives off customers, repeat customers that spread positive recommendations through word of mouth.

If a restaurant business cannot keep a dishwasher past exactly 9:30 or shortly after, and cannot find a lemon slice before closing then there surely must be serious issues in the management or budgeting of the restaurant.

I was shown this restaurant and although it is very cute and the food is good, it is not so good or good enough that I will voluntarily return. Nor will I recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of friendly, hospitable restaurants in town that want my, and...

Don’t let the fusion Greek and Indian menu scare you away, this is one of the best Greek restaurants I’ve ever been to! It’s hard to find great Greek food, especially in the PNW. This place is legit. I don’t know where they get their oregano from but it is so much more flavorful than ordinary oregano, it really adds so much to all of the food. The salata horiatiki (Greek salad) gives you an outrageous amount of feta along with big hunks of veggies, a small is perfect to split with two people for an appetizer. The kotta psiti had a very moist and well seasoned roasted piece of chicken, the skin delicious with a ton of seasoning. The potatoes were amazing as well. My husband got the brizoles (pork chop) but we both agreed my chicken was better. I demolished my plate and want to eat it...

Our favorite in Eugene our home town. Poppi’s has been excellent since before we moved here 25 years ago. Greek and Indian cuisine. Really good choice of ingredients and great taste, always fresh, artistry with spices. We love the Greek salad, and they have excellent soups. The Vindaloo chicken is great if you love really spicy, the korma chicken or prawns if you like a bit more mild. The brizoles is an excellent pork chop, and either moussaka (Greek or Egyptian) is great for vegetarian.

Poppi's feels like it's all fresh, clean, absolutely delicious, and also more real and healthy than a lot of restaurants.

Sundays are special, Greek night, with a reduced menu of Greek food, no Indian. The lamb skewers are on the Sunday menu, not always available on...
