My whole household was excited when we saw the grand opening of this place in Federal Way. Its nice to NOT have to go to Seattle to get a korean hot dog.
All together we got #1 seoul sausage potato hotdog (with and without sugar), #2 seoul mozza potato dog, #5 seoul sausage hotdog, #6 seoul mozza dog, & #7 seoul half & half hotdog. I tried to get a #8 seoul rice cake dog, but they were out so i got an order of tteok kkochi (rice cake skewers). You can get them with and without sugar AND can tell them how much sugar you want (light, extra). My roommates wanted sugar....i was hesitant so i said no thanks.
Each dog comes with sauce. Sauces to choose from were: ketchup, mustard, honey mustard, sweet chili, ranch, 'ah! Hot sauce' (creamy), 'ah! Cheddar', & 'Ah bago' (bbq gochujang). We tried sweet chili, ah' hot sauce, and ah' bago and each were delicious.
Overall bigger, compared to similar spots in seattle. Wasnt greasy, super tasty. Interested in going back to try other menu options. All female staff when we got there...super nice and open to suggest items since it was our first time. The spot is small. 2 small bar like seating areas, no more than a couple handfuls of seats. We got a little pager and waitwd outside. When our food was ready, we were paged. Food came out pretty quick and was packaged nicely. Got home and we all devoured our meals highly satisfied. Prices are...

Menu options are slim but what they lack in quantity, they make up with quality. These are some of the best "corn dogs" that I have had. I put that in quotations because the outer coating isn't the usual corndog coating but much better. You can get full dogs, full mozzarella (like a huge deep fried mozzarella cheese stick on a stick) or half hot dog/half cheese stick. Full beef and spicy hotdogs are available as well! You can also have deep fried potatoes embedded in the coating with the same options! You can get one sauce per corndog (I had the cheese one which is pretty tasty and surprisingly a little sweet). There is also an option to add sugar to the outside as well. My friend also said that the lemonade was divine.
Only drawback is that they don't keep (took me 45 minutes to get to eat them as I had to drive back home) and taste as good when cooked fresh. That's on me and not on them. I'm sure they taste awesome right out of the deep fryer. I also wish where the half/half option was equally cheese and hotdog in every bite instead of the top half cheese and the bottom half hotdog but I understand logistically that would be difficult to do.
This area is pretty busy so be sure to be prepared for that too. The vet clinic can get pretty hectic and take up a...
Read moreIf it's your first time visiting, I recommend going during off-peak hours or considering online ordering. When my friend and I visited for the first time, we were lucky to find the place empty, but things changed once we started to order, as more customers arrived. After placing our order, we received a timer and waited about five minutes for our food. However, when we got home, we discovered that our order was incorrect. We had ordered two #5, fries and sauce, but they weren't included, and the receipt didn't even reflect them; not sure what I paid over twenty bucks for but we only received one hot dog (which wasn't the one we ordered, came with potatoes) for two people.
It might be beneficial to confirm your order with the cashier next time, even if it feels a bit uncomfortable. It could help ensure that your order is accurate and includes everything you...
