Adore Bridal Boutique — Local services in Federal Way

I had no expectations going into the boutique, having only booked the appointment 24 hours prior. It was a little tricky finding the shop, but as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Henny, a sweet clerk who has been working for the boutique for 5+ years. I told her what I was looking for and she showed me to the dresses that were the best places to start. She let my mother and friends search through the dresses as well, which was fun for them. I know a lot of boutiques don't let you do this, so I was happy to hear that they could be more involved in the search.

As I tried on dresses, Henny helped me pick which ones to try on first, and let me get changed in private unless I asked for help. She observed happily as I talked with my friends about the dresses, and gave her professional advice when she felt it appropriate. She was very sweet, very knowledgeable about other brands, and even knew the history of the dresses, since this is a consignment boutique.

After trying on only four dresses, I slipped into something that I absolutely loved, and so did everyone else, even Henny! It was clear that this was the dress. Henny played with different accessories and even attended to us for an additional 30 minutes after the appointment ended. I tried on a few more dresses, but ultimately went back to the fourth dress. It had only been worn in one photoshoot before, so my wedding will be its first! I cannot believe how much money I saved on my dream dress!!

While we were checking out, she offered to take a picture for us for social media. I also asked for the Spotify playlist that she played during the appointment, which she sent to me in an email later that day congratulating for finding my dream dress.

I highly recommend this boutique to anyone searching for a dress! Save time ordering your dress (buy it off the rack), save money, and feel cherished by the clerk, who cares about you as the bride - not just someone who is buying...

I wish I could give Henny more stars!!! I was recommended to her shop by my sister in law so this was the first shop I went to look for my wedding dress. She went above & beyond to make sure I was helped & pulled out dresses off the rack that matched exactly what I was looking for 🤍 She was so kind towards my sister & I, we both brought our babies with us (2 months & 2 years old) she had toys for my sisters 2 year old! She instructed me how to get in the dress & she came to zip my dress when I was ready! I absolute fell in love with the first 2 dresses I tried on - I let her know I had another appointment but forsure the two dresses I tried on are my favorite. I went over to David’s bridal & hated it there, it was nothing compared to the experience I had with Henny. I came back the next day at to get one of the dresses I tried on but she was closed at the time ): I called her to let her know I wanted the dress I tried on & she came in 20 mins top to meet me at her shop! I originally took home the very first dress I tried on but had second thoughts & called her, she was so kind & told her to meet her at the shop to exchange my dress!! I got the dress I really loved with a very friendly price! I recommend everyone go to her, she goes with your budget & the style you are looking for. While Henny was incredibly sweet and warm and the boutique was lovely, she was not forthcoming. I had emailed over a month before my appointment and stated I was only looking for gowns that came in black and if she didn’t have any, to just let me know and I’d cancel the appointment. She wrote back and assured me she had “many”. Upon arrival, she pulled gowns that were lovely and in styles I liked and each time that I asked if they came in black I got the same response: “I think so, I’ll have to double check”. I found a dress I liked and she said she would reach out to let me know on Monday. Monday came and went. She finally told me that no gowns came in all black. It was such a huge waste of time and a poor business practice. I had no budget for my dress, no particular silhouette I was set on, I just needed it to be all black. I ended up getting my dream dress at Evergreen Bridal, with customization and in all black. All worked out in the end, but… oof. If she would lie about that, I’d worry about other business practices she wouldn’t be...
