The employee that was making my drink and warming up my cheese danish/pastry was almost insultingly slow. The entire place was understaffed today as I heard one of the employees say to another. Which is fine, I can understand that, however, the hardly negates the fact that the employee handling my order could hardly pay enough attention to what she was doing to heat up a simple pastry timely enough without her fellow co-worker, who was the cashier that took my order having to open the oven door for her and tell her "ok, it's been done" because she kept just standing there slowly wiping out the other oven with the same rag for the first 10 minutes of me being in there (7-8 mins of which I was simply waiting for that part of my order) then I watched the other employees make drink after drink after drink for the people in front of me inside the store and each order in front of and behind mine in the drive through line for another 6-10 mins and watched the girl who finally gave me my pastry when reminded of it pace back and forth a few times, get a cup for a quick shot of tea for herself (or something like that. I don't know really what she was doing but it wasn't related to anyone's order, that much I saw.) And then finally at the very end of them making orders (as they were putting out a temporarily closed sign in the drive thru) the girl who finally gave me my pastry finally got around to making my drink for me, she made it very quick and very sloppily (cuz we're standing right there means we can see you making it!) While staring off into space the whole time, and when she said my name, both for the pastry and drink, she couldn't even be bothered to look in my direction let alone make eye contact, say "have a nice day" or anything else like that....luckily Starbucks' quality is still there no matter how lazy and rude their employees are so that saved them from getting a one star review...
Read moreThis place is usually good, but I give 3 this time because 1. when I ordered coffee this morning, I had $0.66 in my Starbucks card and wanted to reload just $5.00. 2. The coffee was $5.78 and I was getting ready $0.12 which was the amount I owe the server and server told me I owe her $0.66. 3. Server told me to wait and doing something in the system and saying "I will let you know after I do this but it will be $0.66." 4. When I handed her $0.15 which should be good enough to cover rest of amount I should pay, server still says I owe her $0.66. 5. I luckily found $1.00 bill and handed out to her. When I asked her for my change, she said she could not charge me just for $5.66 so she reloaded $6.00 which I was not informed when she was doing it. She said with that way I will get more points so it is better way and that was not what I wanted. 6. When I told her I have done that before, she just said "No, I couldn't do it." To me it really doesn't make sense why she could not reload just $5.00 and charge whatever amount in my card for the coffee then cover rest of the amount with cash. I was a little bit late for the work so I couldn't say anything at the moment, but I wanted to say that was not a good way of deliver the customer service. At least she could've asked me if it is okay to reload $6.00 rather than $5.00 before she takes an action because I didn't want more star points...
Read moreI used to love coming to this location every time I would visit Washington, but I had a rather unpleasant experience the other day. I came into the store to get a mocha and a ham cheese sandwich, the girl that helped me was very nice but the was a lady in the background that was being very rude to the other employees ( I found out she was the manager after asking the girl who helped me ). This "manager" was talking aggressively towards the employees, dropped a drink or two and blamed it on the other workers, and just over all had a bad attitude. ( I think she was maybe sick because she kept whipping her nose with her hands and would continue to make drinks or serve food ) I believe the managers name was Magloie or Maggie she was a short lady with a lot of attitude. I WILL NOT becoming back to this location if the Manager treats the employees like that, it makes me wonder what other things go on when no one is in the store; mind you the store was packed with people and she acts like this?? That is not very...
