I always have an issue when I visit this particular "Dunkin". On Sunday the 26th around 9:30ish at night I was on my way to work, but I stopped by through the drive thru for a snack. I got such a warm welcoming. I told the cashier to give me a moment so I can see what it is I'd like to order. He said "ok". I ordered an egg and cheese wrap with hash browns. There was silence from him for 10 seconds. I said "hello" just to make sure he was still there listening. He then says "can you give me a minute". I said ok. 20 seconds of silence or more. Then he says "egg and cheese wrap. Anything else?" I said hash browns and that will be all. Again silence from him. I just pulled up to the window. No one was there at first. Then he comes up to the window to take my form of payment. Then gives it back to me. Then I over hear him say away from the window "I wanna go home. She just taking her time". It wasn't directed towards me but to a co-worker. I don't need to hear him complaining. But I thought that probably was why my ordering was on and off silence from him. It was time for him to go home and he probably was in a hurry to get the order over with or looking for someone to take over his position. I get my snack and leave. I drove to work to eat it. I should have checked it before I left since there was some lack of communication going on from him. So I opened my wrap and there was bacon in it! I was upset because I was hungry, I was already at work and I don't eat pork. I just sighed in frustration why do I always have an issue with this Dunkin'!! Read moreI have had such bad luck with DD that I haven't been to one in over a year, but since my other coffee and breakfast place was closed, I ended up here. When I first arrived, it was not busy and I was the only person inside waiting to order. Front line staff was very friendly, took my order, and got my coffee in good time. Then the food. I know it takes a little time to make the food and it looked like there was only one person making food so I was perfectly fine with waiting. So there I stood waiting. And waiting. I saw my order on the computer screen so I knew it would be soon. Kept waiting. The next time I looked back at the computer screen, my order was gone and no food had been called out for inside customers. So I waited just another minute to be safe. During all this time of waiting (10 minutes maybe), no staff member asked if I was waiting for food or thought to check to see why this lady and her kid were just hanging out in the lobby. I then asked the cook about my order, and he said, "Yeah, that was done a long time ago." Wow. No apologies or further words, just that. He then made the order and then handed it me again with no words of apologies or anything. So I sweetly thanked him because someone needs to make the world a little Kinder. Left there, and then on top of it all, he made the wrong bagel. Such a disappointment and horrible experience. So thanks to this location, I once again have been inspired to never go back to Dunkin...
Read moreWe live halfway between this location and the next location south so depending on where our travels take us on a particular day usually determines which Dunkin we visit. However lately I have been going out of the way to the southern location even if traveling north because the service and experience at this location has become as nasty as a Krispy Kreme donut over the last 3 months.
Today we chose to try this location again and we tried the mobile order for the first time. Pushed to start preparing the order when we left the house. Arrived about 10 minutes later at 08:10 and nothing has been started. Half the donuts (not an exaggeration) we ordered were not available. The employee said they had a large order earlier that wiped them out. The only issue I have with that is it the same excuse (word for word) we heard 4 days earlier.
They made up for the missing donut selection with munchkins but then we found that the bagel with butter we ordered was prepared with cream cheese (for someone who is lactose intolerant). And the frozen coffees were just cold liquid and not slushy like we get at any other location.
I seriously can't even begin to ponder how a mega franchise company like DD has allowed a store at a major Interstate interchange to get to this level of horrible customer service and...
