Lou’s Blues Bar & Grill | Indialantic
3191 SR A1A, Indialantic; 321-779-2299
Lou’s Blues Bar & Grill offers different entertainment nightly and is well known for their live music.
From the breezy ocean view to the ever-popular Mahi sandwich and eclectic décor, Lou’s Blues moves past “best” and on to funky and fun, day and night. This legendary beachfront bar and grill has wowed since 2002 with daily live entertainment, a multitude of drink selections for any palate (don’t pass up the mango margarita) and homemade dishes (try the blue cheese chips, with balsamic glaze.) There’s a story behind every piece of the décor and the building’s past as a Chinese restaurant that was maybe once a brothel, too: Over here, an alligator and a bear; up there, a typewriter and a vintage Charlie McCarthy puppet. Grab a table and watch the band, take the mic and sing karaoke or play trivia, depending on the night. And do ask about the history of Lou’s roots as the Dragon Lady — you’ll probably stay for another round. — Amber Olesen, Florida Today
Lou’s Blues is a Space Coast institution. A local favorite for more than two decades, this beachfront bar and grill is known as a fun hang with great burgers, plenty of drinks and live music. If you’re a fan of blue cheese, get Lou’s Blues house made chips covered in melted blue cheese, scallions and balsamic glaze.
Be sure to take some time and look around (even above you) to enjoy the eclectic décor. This also is the spot to go if you’re looking to enjoy some karaoke. Pro tip: time your visit around a rocket launch for an even better beachfront view. — Michelle Spitzer,...

I first need to say that the food here is great. We have been here multiple times, as recently as last weekend and with my family, because we frequent the hotel next door. We love the patio atmosphere and that we can walk on the beach to get there. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy a meal there last night and the staff was unforgivably rude to us. We were in town for a high school football game, so we got a room in the hotel and planned on eating on the patio. First, my husband and I were greeted warmly, however, I looked back to see the bouncer with his hands on my teenage son. I explained that he was with me, and we were rudely told that we needed to leave the premises immediately. I explained that we were just hoping to get something to eat and the bouncer began to raise his voice and told us we were breaking the law and weren't even allowed to be in the parking lot. We hurried away because we didn't want a scene, but a woman even yelled at us as we were walking back to the hotel. Apparently, minors aren't allowed there past 9:30pm and we didn't know that. Sorry. You could have explained that to us calmly. There was no need to be rude or act toward us with aggression. And, by NO MEANS, was there any reason for someone to put his hands on my child! We won't...

(On the night of 02-17-2020) We had another guest tell us that our experience could be dramatically effected positively or negatively by our waiter or waitress. We were literally told to avoid certain staff members. I believe in giving everyone a fair chance so we still sat in the middle section of the restaurant even though we had been warned. At first everything was good. He took our orders the food was really good and the prices were very fair. However, once the music started our waiter didn’t come back to give us a bill, ask if we wanted another drink, he flat out just ignored us. After an hour, he was behind the bar, I waived my hands and got his attention. When he approached the table I informed him that nobody had checked on us for nearly an hour. His reply was, “ if you need something, you need to grab one of us.” A quick apology and a statement of what can I get you guys would have been sufficient for me. To blame me for his mistake merely confirmed the information I had received earlier. I immediately ask for my bill, still tipped him 15% and went to the back deck to continue drinking and enjoying the atmosphere. The waitress in the back was prompt, attentive, and very friendly. We stayed for another 90 minutes, tipped her 40% and left for the night. It really was a cool place that I would probably not ever visit again. Like I said before the food was really good. To the management, “a chain is only as strong as its weakest link”....
