I went with my two sons and a friend. We placed our orders (2 separate one hers, 1 mine) at the self kiosk. We each took our table placard. We all sat down there was only one guy having his order taken, an already seated couple eating and noone in the drive thru. You can see through their drive thru windows at the front of the store by the registers. We sit down their supposed to bring us our food. That didn't happen instead they call out the numbers okay. But they didn't give us our cups she said she would bring them over okay. Then she does. She says they don't have large cups and brings us each two small Mcflurry cups each with the open top lids (the ones you can put a spoon in that's irritating but okay. But she doesn't bring my one son's drink)or in this case drinks). She doesn't believe me so I show her both my receipt and my friends, she says she will bring them. Well after 10 minutes I get up and see the manager who had been bringing the drinks over walk outside with his drinks and nothing else. She sees me and comes in hands them to me. My kid isn't drinking that, I just sat it down on the table and told him I'd give him my other drink, he didn't really want tea but okay. Well then it happens my son sees a man who just placed his order get two large drinks in large cups with the correct lids🥤. Then another group all large drinks. We'll were all irritated now. My son wants a new drink in a large cup without a field trip outside. The manager argued with him. So my older son almost an adult confronts her. He got us all large drinks. Then we noticed something the couple in the very back that had been there had large cups. We were nice the whole time though my son had to be demanding to get the large drinks. Idk what her problem was. We couldn't tell what was being said but a employee was yelling at the manager in the back 🤣. My guess she wasn't being nice to anyone even her own employee. I don't like McDonald's I went for the kids and my friend, but...
Read moreUpdating my prior two-star rating from seven years ago to one-star today, it's plain and simple. Store is advertised as being open 24 hours when it's not. In fact, this particular McDonald's was closed in the early evening with not a soul to be found through the drive-thru window.
My rating for this particular McDonald's location for my visit on Monday is two-stars. This modern McDonald's is located on the Southwest corner of 58th Avenue and State Road 60 near the Home Depot. It has two drive-thru lanes, plenty of parking, and no playground for the kids.
Expecting better service than I had during my last visit, I had to wait in excess of ten minutes for fresh coffee to be made. It was almost like they "forgot" to make the coffee as I had walked away and sat with my twin children while they munched on their Happy Meals.
One ice machine was out of ice while the second only had a few cubes left to displace. I was unable to fill all three of my cups with ice and stated so to staff. They indicated this was a continuous problem that required further attention.
The ketchup dispenser by the soda machine was out of ketchup. I had to ask the cashier for ketchup in the packets for my kids French Fries. The ketchup was readily provided.
Not having received the coffee ordered, I returned to the counter. The cashier indicated that it "was being made" and would be brought to my table. Although fresh, the coffee did not arrive for another five minutes or so.
Service was friendly, restaurant appeared moderately clean, and I had no issues unexpected from a lunch-time visit to a fast food restaurant. I did not have a chance to visit the restrooms so I had no idea of their condition.
McDonald's is a necessary evil and most of the time I have BOGO free coupons.

Read moreAlright, so in general I regarded this particular McDonalds as mediocre. Nothing impressive but they did their job competently - in short, they met expectations.
Then I come through with a large order, they leave out 3 large fries and an order of mcnuggets. Fine, honest mistake, it happens and this was a large order, but I didn't want to go back right away so I waited until after eating and then just went back for a refund on the items ordered.
I get there, talk with the cashier, the cashier indicates she remembered me and that we drove off without the fries and mcnuggets. I had the receipt which also verified that the items left behind were attached to my order, so she went and gets one of her supervisors.
Supervisor claims she can't do anything because it was more than two hours (I arrived at 7:43pm, timestamp on the receipt was around 6:30pm same day) and because I didn't bring the food (I'm coming in for refund on missing items from an order we already ate, what food am I bringing?). After a brief battle she refunds... the fries. The cost of the McNuggets wasn't worth continuing the battle so I left.
Leaving a 1 star because I had to fight for a refund on food not received after a staff member corroborated my story, where I had receipt for the order. If I had no receipt OR if nobody on duty could corroborate the items left behind I'd be more understanding, but I had both. And after that she doesn't even refund everything that was missing - not sure if it's because said manager was not listening or if this was done out of spite. I'm inclined to believe the former.
Will anything come of this? No idea, doesn't matter, not going to this McDonalds again. This review is not a request for remediation, just a vent over an irritating experience and a...
