Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Normally, whenever I take the time out my day to leave a review it’s for a good one. I do not like complaining. But today I must leave this review, my sister and I has the worst experience ordering here with this woman- Good thing I speak Spanish or else who knows how I would’ve communicated with her. . We spent almost 60 dollars ! And I even tipped her. We ordered 4 slices of pizza and an order of wings and extra toppings. When I asked for my receipt she told me she can’t give it to me but I can take a photo of her iPad screen. I reviewed the receipt and I asked her why she rung up different items than we ordered. She immediately got an attitude and said we have no right to question her because she is a manager. I just wanted to know why she rang me up for totally different items! I needed to know if I got charged the right amount. We waited in the car for 20 minutes for the wings- meanwhile the whole time she was talking on her phone and handling food with no gloves.

When I got my $17 wings I only had 2 flats. I asked her why it’s all drums and she responded that since her assistant bagged it that way - that’s how she served it. I told her what she can do to fix the situation as a “manager” and she just started at me and said she’ll give me money back. She took the wings back immediately and took cash out the register. I said ma’am wait let me ask the group what they want please wait!! She ignored me and followed me waving cash in the air. We ended up keeping the food and refused a refund since we waited so long for the food. I asked her for her name and she refused to provide it! She then told me it’s Veronica. I asked who the owner is and she said she IS the owner. I called her bluff but she didn’t care.

I told her to please provide me the owners name so I can speak to Him and she said “FIGURE IT OUT”. You can Keep standing there all night but I won’t tell you I don’t care.” She forgot to give us the pizza when we left so we had to come get it. I asked for a ranch for the wings and she asked for $2.

I like the pizza here and it’s sad that experiences like this can taint my perception of this place. I think I’ll have to find a new pizza spot by the beach in order to avoid this lady! Given the other reviews it seems I am not the only one that has...

Firstly I’m a local Guide No a fake Acct- since I’ve noticed he is rude and tells all his honest bad reviews they are fake and insults them 🤦‍♀️ I Had ordered a pepperoni slice while at the St.Pattys day parade yesterday. Just tooo much on a slice. Pizza becomes too thick with the double cheese and double pepperoni and Ricotta with the basil 😒 less is more in this case. It was a mushy mess. One good thing the Crust was crispy but toppings were Luke warm and kinda gross to be honest. They premake the pie then oven your slice to order but that pizza sitting out there in the Florida heat 🤢… When I got the slice the cheese wasn’t even melted!!! I regret not walking an extra block to the St.Pattys even and getting food there. If your plastered wasted maybe it’ll taste good and a hood option to get a slice here but your stomach will regret it like mines did. The “Basil “ the owner kept bragging about on his Microphone didn’t even taste like Basil 🙄. Just do normal slices the crust was good which means the base is good but eventually else...

beach pizza is the tops! i work near them and out of all the restaurants in the 3 block radius, i can say they make the food with care and i feel good after eating there daily, thats right, every day! the service can be below average sometimes due the drunk idiot customers that test their patience continuously. it may seem like a little fast food spot, but make no mistake, the people that work there are loyal and happy employees. i own Bulldog Tattoo around the corner and i eat everywhere and i can honestly say ' i endorse this restaurant having owned several myself. its disheartening to read negative reviews about this spot. i say to those hate mongers: lets see you run a better joint and ill give you the same respect after you not only open, but be above average consistantly with the type of tourist clientele.' i rate 4 out of 5 stars because you are not a corporate conglamerate like capital grille.
