It’s three days since the location opened, I get it it’s very new. I placed an online order at 8:30 pm, app said it was ready for pickup at 8:50 so I went to go ahead and grab it. As soon as I walk in, lobby is packed to the brim. Understandable, again it’s a new business. I wait in line to go to a cashier and tell them my order is ready for pickup, they ask me for the name on the order and the girl comes back and tells me they’re just starting to pack it now. I go ahead and wait a few minutes until I hear people start saying it’s a 40 minute wait time for food. I thought surely not for an online order, so I go up and ask a young man if it’s actually 40 minutes even for an online order and he responds with “I honestly don’t know” which is..I mean, ok? So I ask for a manger to see about cancelling my order because I do not want to wait 40 minutes for three menu items. He goes behind the counter and YELLS infront of everyone for the manger to come up..when he could’ve just gone back and gotten them discreetly? Instead of making it seem like there was a problem. Manager comes up, asks for my order name. Original cashier tells me the kitchen said they were just packaging it up, only for her to walk over to the pickup order rack, where I notice about 6 online order tickets just being ignored. I tell them I do not want to wait 40 minutes for my order so if they can just cancel it that’d be fine, manager tells me they can’t refund online orders in store so I’d have to call an number on the app. That’s fine, but I believe the employees at this location need more training for communication skills. Whole time the back of the kitchen were all quiet and not communicating, but the expo/packaging people up front were the only ones doing so. As well as telling all of the customers the wait time would be 40+ minutes, they continued to take orders. In my opinion, as a former food service worker I believe they should have stopped taking orders for a while until they caught up. Hope things get better for this location, because I’m not the only one this...

I visited this location on 8/20 at 9:30pm through the drive-thru. Since the store just opened, the lines were understandably long, and it’s clear that they are still working through some challenges. However, what stood out to me the most was the excellent customer service I experienced from several team members, as well as the positive interactions I observed while waiting.
I apologize because I don’t believe I captured the names correctly
Kiana took my order and cashed me out. I had a question about a price difference, and she went out of her way to get me an answer and resolution—handling it with professionalism and kindness.
Grace greeted me right away with my “no ice” drink, and her warm customer service was very much appreciated.
Although my order took a little longer, Janaya (red hair) followed up with me, apologized for the delay, and even gave me a meal coupon for my patience. Not only was her customer service great, but what impressed me most was her leadership skills and the way she supported the team to keep orders moving more efficiently.
Even the team members I didn’t interact with directly showed behaviors that made me believe this location has the potential to deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
To future customers: Don’t give up on this location because of temporary long lines or minor order mishaps. The team here truly seems to care, and that makes a big difference for me and where I choose to spend my money.

Read moreBojangles recently opened a store not far from where I work. I decided I wanted to try something different so I asked Chat GPT what type of restaurant Bojangles was. The response, southern style fried chicken was all I needed to hear. I used their drive through window service to order 4 chicken tenders and fries, I had no issues with the order taker, other than her getting my name wrong, and I went back to work. The chicken tenders were adequate, tender with a crispy breading texture and the small portion of seasoned fries were not quite enough to go along with the four large tenders. Eating them together left me with two chicken tenders and no more fries. There was a biscuit however and it was pretty good if you like biscuits. Now the reason for the three star rating is that this would have been an excellent meal given more fries and considerably less salt. If you’re on a sodium restricted diet, you’ll want to avoid this establishment or go inside and ask them not to salt everything up so much, which is what I may do if I go back. The flavor would have been fine and I’m not so sure why they felt so much salt was necessary on my order. I did not finish the last chicken tender as there was nothing left to eat it with. I could tell the food was probably pretty darn good before all the added salt. I will try it one more time but opting instead to go inside and order in person and face to face. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get a no salted chicken meal but I would definitely...
