Ouray Ice House Coffee Shop/Ice Cream — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Stopped in here unplanned on our most recent trip to Ouray and I am so glad we did. This little shop is right off the main street. We ducked in to escape the heat and grab an ice cream, was so happy to see that they sell a local Colorado brand ice cream unlike some of the other places in Ouray that are peddling blue bunny. Stopped in early one morning for a couple of coffees, bottled waters, and warm cinnamon buns. All were really good, but the best was the super friendly owner with great advice for places to hike and go to in the area. This is a little gem of a coffee shop! Very on theme outdoorsy themed ice cream shop, lots of flavours to choose from. I absolutely loved the Cayenne Cinnamon Honey flavour and the Mint Chip was very subtle and wonderful. The cookies and cream and blackberry cheesecake and caramel were okay.
