This review is not about the restaurant. It’s about the venue, its location and the rooftop bar.
We have been through Ouray on several occasions while traveling the million dollar highway. Great mountain town and worth the stop at any given time you are traveling.
Found this location w friends. Wow! This place is great. It’s a three story Thai Restaurant. The first floor is the restaurant. Second floor is a lounge and Bar. The top is an out door sitting area with bar and firepit.
The place is really cool. An eclectic old building remodeled with an industrial modern vibe that takes advantage of the old structure perfectly.
The rooftop probably has the best view of Ouray town and the surroundings - of any building in Ouray. Not sure why this place is lsn’t packed. The view is spectacular and sits above all the other buildings. No obstructions to the view. The costs are very reasonable for drinks. The rooftop has bar seating as well as lounges and a fire pit. It’s an awesome location

The one star reflects: Refusal to allow my wife's certified service animal inside the restaurant, hence breaking provisions included with the ADA. Asking for a certification when it isn't allowed, in a demanding and harsh manner. They offered to eat outside, not even turning on the heaters. Later on, upon my insistence, the manager sent someone to do it. The manager was rude, uncaring and provided a terrible service, by bringing the items ordered at different and uncoordinated time. (i.e. appetizer and soup entree together, rice for the soup Tom Ka Gai, 7' afterwards, among a few other incidents). The food was just average. The Thai fish cakes were oily. The tom ka gas was good. The Thai basil fried rice was dried and barely spicy despite my requests. After my many trips to Thailand, I know a thing or two about Thai cuisine, this was between average and poor.
I accept my own mistakes for choosing a Thai restaurant in a mountain town, and for accepting the discrimination and eating outside. (It was late, and had no many other options).
It was a sad and...

At this point there is no one at the front to attend us
