I waited at the order speaker in the drive thru tonight for someone to come on to take my order and no one ever did. I watched five cars in the other drive thru line come through and have their order taken. The car behind me finally gave up and moved to the other line but I was stuck. I finally just drove up to the window and asked if I could place my order there since the speaker wasn’t working. The nice young man at the window said it was his second day and he didn’t know how to take orders at the window so he asked a woman with a headset on if she could come and take my order. Instead of asking me what I’d like she immediately reprimanded me for not placing my order at the drive thru speaker. When I told her the speaker wasn’t working and that no one ever came on she snapped back that the speaker was working fine. When I told her I watched five cars pass by on the other speaker without anyone coming over on mine she again snapped that the speaker was working just fine and told me to just tell her what I wanted. As I placed the order she asked “is that it” and when I confirmed my order was complete, she just walked away without saying anything. The nice young man on his second day returned to the window and apologized for what just happened. Even a person on his second day of work knew that we were treated extremely rudely. As we drove up to the second window we could hear the manager reprimanding the woman who took my order since this window order of mine now delayed the entire line. He was telling her that she was supposed to be taking orders from both speakers which she clearly was not. I would strongly recommend that management help this woman with some training on customer service and management of the drive thru speakers. Read moreWill NEVER go here again. Worst staff EVER. Cars were wrapped all the way around. Drive through line was not moving for 25'. I finally jumped out, parked. and walked in. The chaos inside was the worst I have ever seen at a fast food place. The drive through window girl paced back and forth, read and re-read the monitor showing tickets. After 15' pacing, she took off the headset to run out 2 ice creams... then walked back in to get 2 spoons... to slowly walked back out again. Absolutely no sense of urgency. Meanwhile, there is this guy inside, again, pacing back and forth. He stopped at the counter to try and hook up his buddy over the counter, but hey, he can't find his buddy's ticket either. Seems like he was trying to spell out everything. He took the ticket from his buddy, tried to read it... and handed it back after 5' reading it. can't hook up his buddy because he still can't find the ticket on the monitor. Hey, if he can't find a ticket that he wanted to find, no wonder he can't find mine. In the over 1 hour I was standing there, he filled NO ticket. He did put some fries on a couple trays. He had time to check his phone... and to chat with the girls coming in. But he had no time to work. YUP, it took me over ONE HOUR to get a 4-piece chicken nugget happy meal for my daughter. Read moreIn the drive thru, a worker was telling people to make 2 lines for the 2 drive thru ordering areas. But between him telling people to go to the outside lane and the people taking orders were taking almost 2-4 cars on the inside order area for the drive thru so by the time I could order I had 4 cars that got in line after me order and get there food before me. As well as the car in front of me only spoke Spanish and the older white lady who usually takes order at this location actually yelled at that car so loud I could hear it as a car behind. And she just kept yelling at this car “I don’t speak Spanish I can’t help you” over and over again as they were trying to order. And they also stopped making sweet tea and ran out and said they were not making anymore and to pick something else. I am not usually one to give such a negative review being that I work in food service my self, but the way most of this staff was just completely unacceptable it wasn’t even the most basic of customer service. I honestly was almost so appalled that I would have went sumwhere else but this is the only McDonald’s open as late as this on that isn’t out of my way home. And being that this location is so close to disney world I was just so let down on the lack of customer service and just all around common decency that I’d rather go home and have to cook my own food after working 12+ hours.
