Heavenly Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

I am usually not the type to write reviews (or even read them) but I felt compelled to share my thoughts after a terrible dining experience tonight. After seeing wait times at many of the other places around Fredericksburg, we decided to have a quick and rather casual pizza night. We arrived at about 7:30pm and were quickly brought out our drinks but that was one of the last times we would see our server. After putting in an order for wings and a meat-lovers pizza shortly after being seated, we got our wings about 10 minutes later. They were good! Nothing to complain about whatsoever. We then got another round of drinks and waited for our pizza for about 45 minutes. Once we saw all the tables around us and other parties that came in after us receive their pizza we asked our non-attentive server about our order. Apparently she had forgot to put it in. No big deal, things happen, we're all human. Our server then told us it would be out shortly. Seems like no big deal right? Well.... after another 35-40 minute bout with boredom and starvation we were waited on less and less by the staff. We were told that it would be ready in "15 minutes"... okay we can wait, no problem. That "15 minutes" turned into 20 minutes then 30 and so on. We ended up not getting our pizza until well after closing time of 9pm. They asked if we wanted to box it up and take it to-go ... are you kidding?? If we wanted that we would've called ahead for take out and saved ourselves 2+ hours. We should have been in and out with plenty of time to spare before they closed for the night. We got our pizza, it was good but nothing to write home about and definitely not worth the wait. We felt rushed to get out of there as employees were sweeping and stacking chairs all around us. I am also not one to go out of my way to speak to a manager but we tried and he seemed like he could not have cared less as he sipped his (at least 2nd) Tito's cocktail. Even after the problem was addressed he walked by a multitude of times and did not say a word. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and I do not blame the servers or the cooks or anybody but the nonchalant manager who did absolutely nothing to make our time there bearable. We might come back if we saw a sign on the door that said "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT". Oh well... there are plenty of better places to go in this town. Do not waste your time...

This is definitely a hidden gem in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Chicken Wings are large and very flavorful. The Pizzas are made to your order and are so very good. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is so welcoming. This place is right around the corner from Main Street, easy to get to. Once the word is put out about this place, Im sure you won't find a seat! October 12, 2024 - We ordered a Supreme Pizza, and in the middle of eating, my girlfriend bit down on a BOLT. There was a bolt 2-3 bites into her pizza slice.
