Wife and I visited while we were visiting Fredericksburg. Walked in and was greeted and seated almost immediately. However, after that it just went downhill really fast. We ordered some beers first along with chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole. We also ordered a large pepperoni pizza and wife wanted the black bean soup I believe it was. We literally waited 20 minutes and still had no water or no beers. Waitress came back around was like sorry I'm trying to get your beers but I'm waiting for our bartender. I asked where he was and apparently he was outside having a fight or disagreement with someone which is so unprofessional and trashy. After about 30 minutes we received beers and all our food at once. Completely ridiculous... Salsa was actually really good and wife did like her soup. However, they claim to have the best thin crust pizza which is absolutely false. The pizza was absolutely below average. It was like a big blob of cheese with really big pepperoni on it. Waitress was really nice however it dont make up for the lack of everything else.

First stop on my first trip to FBG. What a great little spot for lunch. Offering thin crust pizza and sandwiches along with beer and wine, most pallets will find something they like. IMO, adding cocktails to the menu would be even better. As a table, we shared the goat cheese and garlic appetizer which was just superb. Super simple, but it came with the most amazing baked garlic, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, yummy goat cheese and crispy bread. We also split a Mediterranean pizza which was yummy. Crisp edge, soggy middle (like most pizza of this style). Flavorful sauce and a good amount of toppings. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly. The place is smallish and broken into rooms that may make it hard for someone in a wheelchair to get around. Tall tables in the front also limit options. And the bathrooms are a bit of a maze through other rooms to get to. Covid safe procedures appeared to be in place, and I felt comfortable eating there. Overall a very good experience.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a Monday recently. They offer indoor seating, and a outdoor deck. We enjoyed a Greek salad and a small pepperoni pizza, see pics. The Greek salad we split, and it was quite delicious! Lots of Olives, Tomatoes, feta cheese and yummy dressing. Our pizza was delicious but it is thin crust and the soft kind so that you can roll it like New York style. Due to the large amount of cheese and pepperonis, there was quite a bit of grease to be had. Overall, our Greek salad, small pepperoni pizza, iced tea and a coke came to almost exactly $30 including tax. Not a bad deal, I can recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable spot off the main drag for something to eat. They also offer a variety of other entrees, not just pizza... And adult beverages as well. Service is attentive and atmosphere is casual.

Delicious and twelve major thumbs up from our 6 members of our party! Our biggest endorsement: we ate here 3 days in a row!!! not kidding. On a girls weekend, on our first day we found the Sozial Haus’ charming outdoor deck inviting for a quick bite to eat in our sunny TX December weather and boy were we blown away at how delicious the food was!! Three of us had the hummus plate, side salad, chicken artichoke melt, homemade pasta salad and their chili. We all raved over our food! All of the veggies in the hummus plate and salad were super fresh and appetizing! They even sprinkle a little seasoned olive oil on the Hummus veggies which is just a great detail to quality. My artichoke sandwich was so out-of-this-world that I had it again the next day. And we were nuts over the delicious fresh pasta salad!! Next day, our 3 other girls join us in town and where do we have to go again? Sozial Haus!! And everything all 6 of us ordered was amazing!! The last day on the way out of town, I knew I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t try their Reuben because I usually order a Reuben if a place is known for killer sandwiches and driving away from Fredericksburg munching on their sandwich - I was most sad to leave because I would miss Sozial Haus. 😢 Too bad they don’t have this place in my town I thought. 🥰 also our waitstaff was awesome each day! I will advise that the water did taste funny so I would advise skipping that on the drink order but everything else was perfect! Loved the atmosphere, the service, and the FOOD! You can’t be disappointed with this place and you’ve gotta try their sandwiches; they...

Just wanted to give a great review to the Sozial Haus. My wife and 7 of her friends went to Fredericksburg for a girls trip and I wanted their first night in the Airbnb to be fun and easy so I ordered them dinner. I am from Tulsa and called a couple places in town and told me that they no longer deliver. Well I didn't want to send Pizza Hut therefore I tried Sozial Haus and spoke with Dollar. She was so awesome and helping with what the girls would really like and even offered to deliver the food even though they weren't delivering anymore either. She was able to deliver it because she was getting off at that same time I needed it delivered. That is going above and beyond standard customer service in my opinion. Dollar used her personal time time make my little surprise come true. All I can say is WOW. It's great to know people still care about service. The Haus had great pizza, sandwich's and salad offerings and the girls loved them all. O and they were all over the amazing desserts. Probably the only time I will be able to make 8 girls happy at the same time HAHA. But seriously, thank you Sozial Haus and especially Dollar for not being Basic and going above and beyond. I wish you the best and I am confident that you will have great success with employees like Dollar. Thank you soo much!

P.S. Dollar also sent me a follow up text letting me know everything was delivered and the girls loved it. Awesome service. They all went out that night and took a pic outside and...

The food here was good and cups of soup are enough for a meal if you're not too hungry. Those are about the only good things. The service is terrible! We had five people in our party. Two of us ordered cups of soup, one got the salsa, queso, and guac, one got a sandwich, and one got a pizza. One of the cups of soup arrived after about 15 or 20 minutes. The second arrived 5 or 7 minutes later. The two with soup had finished their soups by the time salsa, queso, & guac arrived. Halfway through the s, q, & g the sandwich arrived, and finally the pizza arrived afterwards. Oh and don't come thirsty here either. Our glasses were filled until the pizza had finally come out and were completely empty. One may say "oh they were probably slammed and this commenter was just upset about it" or "the kitchen was short staffed". Let me put it this way, they had customers sitting indoors and outdoors but in NO WAY would you call them busy. Also, 3 of 5 food items that were ordered were items the waitresses would have served out anyway! Seriously, why would chips and dips come out after soups were finished being eaten?? Were they planting the tomatoes and avocados for the salsa and guac? Milking the cow for the queso? I definitely would not suggest going here if you're really hungry, on a time...
