Fiesta Winery Fredericksburg — Attraction in Fredericksburg

TL;DR terrible service mediocre wine. Go to Becker winery instead.

This place was super rude. We arrived close to closing time. They were only doing to go orders which is fine. The bartender was pouring our wine and the manager turned off the lights to inform everyone that they were closed exactly at 6pm. So I got to pay in the dark. As soon as all the patrons had left the store they turn the lights back on because they had to do inventory. So we were pushed out purely because it was the minute they closed. I would not recommend visiting this shop. Also they are anti 2a. Horrible experience.

EDIT: Finished my tannat glass and it was full of sediment. Avoid at all costs.

Edit 2: The manager came out and confronted me on my review. No make good, no apologies, just defending his actions. Started speaking loudly while my baby girl was sleeping. Terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend this location.

M: I turned off the lights because that's what bars do. This isn't a bar at 2am it's a winery at 6pm

M: Wine just has sediment in it. Well you aren't supposed to serve sediment that's why you decant wine that had sediment.

M: All the wineries can't support 2a in Fredericksburg. I didn't notice another winery that said they were anti 2a, so this was a lie or at least something that is promoted here.

Worst experience ever avoided...

Horrible service times 2. I tried again. First time, I tried to taste the wines in Main Street location in Fredicksburg, and was ignored repeatedly by the server. Then she made a rude face at me when I asked for minute to look at the wines, before I tasted them, (you can’t see them up close- they are behind the counter), then when I was ready I asked for a help, and this same girl, mad a use face to me and my brother in law, and purposely went to over to couple she was already helping prior. This past weekend,I tried again, hoping to try before I buy, and I got no service whatsoever. Two people in there, behind the counter, maybe 4 people besides me in there, and 3 of us, couldn’t get help. You read all of these good reviews, so you try again, and get the same treatment. Left Fredricksburg with a 1/2 doz wine bottles from various wineries to try, truly wanted to try Fiesta. You don’t treat possible paying...

my friend and I bought cans of sweet rose wine with notes of watermelon . We got them back to our Airbnb, and they tasted like something was wrong with them no flavor and rotted. I have a picture the bottom of the can says packed February 2022.

I went in this morning to return the. She called the owner because she said you cannot return liquor. I said you sold me an out of date product that is not my fault. They wouldn’t even give me a store credit for merchandise or take them back. If you go online and google as well you’re not supposed to drink anything from 2022 past 18 months of canning we’re talking this is three years past date

horrible service will never ever go to this place again and I visit Fredericksburg every 4 to 6 months they could at least give us a store credit for something else . We have 2-4 packs money...
