My husband and I went in here today because we were looking for hiking boots and other gear for a trip we are going on. We drove in from Kerrville in hopes we wouldn’t need to drive to San Antonio. We found exactly what we needed and their selection of shoes and clothing was impressive! Natalie was the one who helped us out and she was amazing! She was very patient, knowledgeable about the hiking boots, brought me several options and made certain they were a great fit before I left. First visit to Fredericksburg, TX this past weekend and Hill Country Outfitters definitely made my list of highlights of the trip. Met the owner, Desiree, genuinely all around wonderful person! Selection of apparel, accessories, etc for women and men stylish and great quality! Desiree has a fantastic eye and it shows in her buying and merchandising. Found a super cool leather moto jacket. Cute store. Rudest staff ever. he didn’t have a price on clearance shoes, so nobody was sure what the price was. I mention well if they don’t choose to put a price on a product it gets to be free. Sales guy walks right up to me and flips over a pair of shoes off the wall ( they were not the ones out we were talking about ) and basically holds the bottom of the shoe 2 inches from my face.
