Good people, great wines, nice space, and open late. What more could you ask for in downtown Fredericksburg?! The tasting room is an old house with a nice outdoor space that can be enjoyed now that we are leaning into fall. The interior is well-appointed and comfortable. With televisions in each room, it's a good spot to watch a game. Sarah and Brice Garrett are the owners, and their story takes them from Florida and Georgia to Tennessee, to California, and finally to Texas. The two are on-site pouring wine nearly every day they are open, and they love talking about wine. The wines lean into bold reds, but there is something for everyone with a sparkling, a semi-sweet white, a couple of medium-bodied reds, and, of course, the bold boys. Read moreDefinitely one of the best in Fredericksburg! I started following Serrano wine on social media somewhat randomly back when they were located in Paso Robles, CA. To my surprise many years later they moved to Texas! They’re such a great addition to the Texas wine scene. It’s highly evident that Sarah has great skill in crafting high quality wines that are approachable and delicious, while also presenting the public with some lesser known varietals that are really interesting and enjoyable as well. After getting to sit taste with them after our first visit, it was clear we found a winery we wanted to support and join the wine club. Their new tasting room on Main Street is absolutely beautiful. Love that whole vibe and aesthetic. Definitely go...
