Sunday Supply — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

As avid tea enthusiasts, my husband and I were excited to visit Sunday Supply. While we appreciated the cozy atmosphere, there were a few missteps that prevented us from falling in love with this spot.

Firstly, as loose leaf tea fans, we were disappointed to find that Sunday Supply only offers bagged tea. We understand that this might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, but for us, it was a bit of a letdown. We got a 20 oz drink with one tea bag, but most tea spots give you two tea bags with that much hot water. One bag wasn’t strong enough.

Additionally, our visit was around 4 pm, and we noticed that the space could benefit from a good touch-up cleaning. The pastry cabinet was also bare, which was a shame since we were looking forward to pairing our tea with a sweet treat.

We were also surprised to find some unhealthy coffee syrups, which seemed out of place in an otherwise charming establishment.

Lastly, we felt that the hospitality could be warmer and more welcoming. As someone who rarely writes reviews under 5 stars, I wanted to love this spot.

With a few tweaks, Sunday Supply could easily become a 5-star destination with each customer. They were busy, so I’m sure their coffee...

This is the best coffee shop in town. And i dont give that lauditory statement lightly. First off, theyre open with better hours than any other coffee shop in town. Theyre fast with a solid menu and top knotch coffee. They have some basic options for food as well that are well curated and carefully prepared. No microwaves here, they have an actual oven for the warm offerings.

The atmosphere is clean but welcoming. Very cozy with interesting items for sale.

There is a parking lot in the back that it shares with the restaurant that is attached so its easy to find parking here.

There is good space for seating both inside and out for small grouos and large. Also there are good spaces for kids to play outdoors.

Went on the morning of 5/26 to grab a quick bite before we head home. Ordered a kolache & a scone with the girl who was working the register. She completely forgets to warm up the kolache as the woman who ordered after my friend & I got her order. Told the cashier I still need my fruit kolache.. she made it seem like I was adding more work for her when it’s her literal job & that it’s on its way. She clearly forgot I ordered that as she placed it in the warmer after I notified her. She smirks as if it’s funny in front of the other customers. Employees like this ruin local businesses with their negative attitude...
