La Torta — Restaurant in Fresno

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot yet. If you're looking for lunch in downtown, there's both sit-down and buffet style offerings that are all quite delicious! The staff is very kind, so please treat them with respect. La Torta offers many vegetarian options as well! The vegetarian taquitos and the classic two cheese enchilada plate are my comfort food favorites. Find them inside the Galleria! Also, their chips and salsa are A+. Great little breakfast place" delicious" selections" . Chile Verde" it's delish_ .also they have a creamy" flan" that's to die for . I have also enjoyed their buffet" and it's also an awesome deal" with enchiladas" posole" albondigas soups" great salad" fruit metley"rice and beans. All in all" 5 stars'. La Torta has a lunch buffet between 11am and 2pm. The food was hot and presented well. The service is a little slow and we had to wait for tortillas and napkins. But other than that the food was delicious. The chile rellenos were great, the carnitas were crispy and just right, the enchiladas yummy, the Chile verde just right and on and on. I highly recommend this place for lunch. But get there at 11am because it does get busy around 12:30 for the downtown...
