I'm not here to bash the place, but to only share my experience. When I first joined, everything was excellent-Five Stars; however, as time went on, they did away with the weekend brunch, which they said they didn't have enough members attending, yet they never seemed to make it widely known that they offered a weekend brunch. Then they did away with the Happy Hour, which was very popular. Another popular event was soon removed as well, Taco Tuesday, which was awesome. And the cuts continued; next on the chopping block was the included Cowboys Fit membership, which we had to start paying on our own if we wanted to keep working out there. They then started making us pay for the Christmas Party, which use to be free. The shoe shining service was taken away as well. Additionally, when I kindly made suggestions to add to the menu, my voice was heard, but soon forgotten. In all honesty, the food is way overpriced and they go through chefs so frequently that the food is never consistent, nor does it really have any flavor such as the Ribeye steaks and Tandoori Chicken. For the amount I paid for the initiation fee and monthly dues, I no longer felt it was worth the cost. Oh, one more thing; for Cinco De Mayo, we were told by one of the managers and a server that the buffet was complimentary, but they later changed their mind and charged us. And another thing, when the CMAs came to town, they limited who could enter the club, you had to have a ticket to the CMAs in order to reserve a table to dine, but when we arrived for our reservation, there were no...
Read moreRUINED my BIRTHDAY party 😤 It was my birthday celebration, so a friend who is a member made a reservation for a large group to get together. It was my third time there, I walked in wearing a #88 Cowboys jersey with a nice (and expensive designer) jacket on top. The place was completely empty, yet the girls at the front acted busy and made us feel unwelcome! Then one of them rudely asked me to change my jersey….saying you CANT WEAR A COWBOYS JERSEY unless it’s a game day (which unfortunately for Cowboys fans is always a short season!). I think it’s the dumbest policy ever - no Cowboys jerseys at a Cowboys club? So they forced me to button up my jacket to get in.
Once inside the place is decent, nothing special, the seating is uncomfortable, you have to reach out to grab your food or drink kept on a coffee table….just doesn’t feel comfortable sitting on the couches.
The server was okay, came across judgmental, as some of the earlier reviews have mentioned.
The food is sub par for the price range, quail was unique and very nice but all other items were average at best.
Our drinks never came out correctly, always the wrong bourbon or wrong cocktail. Could be our servers attitude.
I am surprised to see all the pictures in these reviews as when we took pics, they told us NO PICS ALLOWED!
No wonder this place is mostly empty!
Glad I didn’t spend the 10’s of thousands for a membership plus monthly dues….so many other clubs in the area which are...
Read moreI've been in this industry for 22 years. I've been in every role including GM of a high volume restaurant. I have been part of the original team that was hired to open the Cowboys Club and I am proud of that. This place is the first of its kind and sure we have and still are working out the kinks, but have come so far and this place is amazing!! The members are so special and bring a smile to my face every day. The management team holds us to high standards (as they should), but all of them including the chef team truly cares about each of us. That is not typical in a "regular" restaurant.
This is a special place that not just anyone can come to or work for. It's the Cowboys way and I am blessed to be part of it!
Thank you Stacy Bowers, John Dal Canton, Ryan Schumann, Michael Watson, Glen Walls, Chef Dishman, Chef Henry, Chef Tim, all of the membership team and the rest of my TEAM! You all are my family and I look forward to seeing you all and forging through the battle every day!
Much...
