Food Order: Supreme Pizza (mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, green peppers, onions, mushrooms), Gatorade Thirst Quencher: Cool Blue $10
Lucky’s Pizza, took over former ASAP Pizza, is located in a tiny strip mall off of busy Redondo Beach Blvd. & Normandie Ave., with a small private parking lot. What differentiates them is that they serve sourdough crust pizzas. I came on the last day around linner time & was the only customer until another customer walked in just after me.
The dining room is spacious with a half dozen tables that seat either 2 or 4 diners, but they're adjustable to create a larger table if you have a big group. What's interesting is that you can "graffiti" their walls to leave your mark... someone Yelp tagged "super good pizza" & I agree.
I was warmly greeted upon entering & offered a 2 Slice Special (choice of cheese, pepperoni, &/or supreme) with a Drink. I was a bit hungry & opted for 2 Supreme Pizzas that's pretty loaded with proteins & veggies, & a Gatorade; there's no soda fountain, only canned sodas & bottled drinks. I saw a couple of slices in a rotating display case, which is what I thought would be served. Nope, I got 2 hot & fresh slices in about 10-mins.! The 2-slice & drink special is $10, & well worth the price for the amount of pizza (they're h-u-g-e!!) you get. What I really love & what differentiates them from other pizza joints is their sourdough crust! Think sourdough bread, which is usually large, & smash it flat while retaining its crisp crust & still having a breadlike texture with a mild sour, vinegary taste that offsets the flavors from the toppings & slight greasiness of the pizza. The toppings were pretty spread, but can't say you get every or most toppings in a single bite, though there's enough to make the slices a satisfying meal. I liked the flavor of the sausages & the crisp Canadian bacon, but I would have preferred a little more veggies to balance the heaviness of the proteins.
I like the mini USB fan gift, & perfect for hot summer days to enjoy the breeze. Just be mindful that it may not be certified for your iPhone or Android phone, & may draw excessive current that could damage the port (so I researched). I've been using it sparingly & seems to be ok.
Service is friendly, & the pizza maker even came out to inquire about my pizza, which I enthusiastically said "yum!" Menu offers just over a dozen signature pizzas with a BYOP (build-your-own-pizza) at moderate price points. If you price out BYOP, you get better value with the signature pizzas. Spicy BBQ Chicken Pizza sounds yummy (I love spicy pizzas), & Sabrosa Pizza sounds divine with an aji limo chili sauce... looking forward to coming back for a taste. Are these signatures part of the 2 slice special? That would be awesome! There's no public restroom visible, & not sure if there's one behind the kitchen. Since a washroom is unavailable, it would be nice to offer hand sanitizer or wipes for post dining cleaning.

I forget the actual name of the pizza but it had pepperoni, jalapenos and caramelized onions which gives it a little sweet but still spicy taste...
All the crust is thin crust, so you can savor the flavor of the...
