Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Georgetown

I have visited this location numerous times and most of their employees usually seem pretty friendly to customers, but one young female employee that works on weekends is very rude! I went through on Sat. night to place my usual order of a pizza when she gave me a higher total price that evening versus a day prior, so I was merely asking her about the sudden price change when she rudely asked if I wanted it or not! I was kinda taken aback by her attitude, but I was thinking about perhaps getting a sandwich instead. I simply mentioned that I had gotten my usual order the previous night without issue and she then rudely said that she didn't know what to tell me! At that point, I said I don't really know what to tell you either because I would be going elsewhere for dinner! I have owned and operated small businesses for decades, and I would never allow an employee to treat my customers so rudely! If this business chooses to have her represent their business like that, they certainly won't be getting any more of my hard-earned money! I would rather spend it with a local establishment that trains their employees properly and shows appreciation for my patronage! Adios...

I just love the sandwiches here. My go to favorite is the Deluxe Original in a medium size on jalapeno cheddar cheese bread. It's got more than twice the meat and cheese as the original and is down right delicious. But you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Update 8/22/21. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and had a less than stellar experience due strictly to one employee, Max, the shift manager. From the cash register, he was barking orders at the workers and treating some of the customers in a condescending manner, me included. I let it go but didn't appreciate how he treated me or others. My wife wanted to take him aside to let him know but we ate our sandwiches and left. Hopefully this review will make it's way to the general manager so appropriate action can take place.

Update June 2023: I reinstated the full 5 stars for this restaurant because they seem to have it all together now. The food is still delicious, service is efficient and friendly and the dining room is cleaned regularly even with heavy customers use. Who doesn't...

I love the sour dough breads! I ordered through the app and in person at this location and had the same great service. I had the vegetable pizza which was excellent. I also had the southwest chicken salad, which had a great flavor and the right amount of chicken. Was a great complaiment to the pizza I had. I also had an original sandwich with avocados added. Love the flavors! Always a great choice. I also added chips and a cookie. All had a great flavor. Always a good choice to eat out, but not a cheap choice.
