For us, it was an 'okay' experience. We were planning to come often and have a birthday party at this location, but it won't happen any longer. Im honestly offended and veru frustrated still days after dining here. We brought a birthday candle to light on a desert from you all, but we just decided not to because the experience wasn't pleasant. I was born here in GA in the 80s. I help all the schools (all sports and activites) churchs and swim teams, etc, pretty much my whole life. My wife has an RN background and is also a school teacher and has a masters im biology. We took our child here for his 3rd birthday. We dont appreciate the negativity during our experience. His food was served soggy and old. My wife and I had fresh food. Fresh crispy, hot fries. Opposite of what our son was served. Our food was completely opposite than our sons'. If I have to repeat it a dozen times so you guys get it, I will. I'm not sure what the issue is, but we do not plan to eat here ever again. We stood around 10 minutes more or less trying to flag down the bartender (he just looked at us like he didn't care at all) and any employee we could just to be seated. Everything took a very long time, and its not the same as others mention in their reviews. There was barely anyone eating there. Maybe 5 or 6 tables being used besides ours. We didn't walk in begging for handouts. We walked in, basically working for your business. You got all these employees clocked in, but no one wants to seat us, and I told the server my son its his birthday, and they gave him soggy old food. It's definitely an experience I will never forget. I have managed restaurants in this area for over 16 years. We have had 5 100s in a row for health inspection. We always have A's in gwinnett and strive to always get 100s. I have not ever. Not one time done the same to my customers. I will be calling in my complaint. I'm just tired of it. I have to use my time and work for your business for free to let you guys know what's going on in this review and use my dining time to speak with someone and use my time to call in the complaint to the location and corporate. Guaranteed the location could not care any less. You can't even speak together and work it out amongst yourselves. Why not review the camera footage and see...
Read moreDear, Dave & Buster management I wanted to share my experience of Saturday night 3/2/2024 At this Sugarloaf location in Lawrenceville, Georgia, My family and I went to D&B as we usually do to celebrate our nephew’s birthday and got kick out for no reason. As we waited about 45 mins. for the activity we went for; the pool tables and bowling. We seat in one of the many empty and dirty tables that were available and asked for a waiter, the waiter came, told us that table was reserved for the pool tables. As we were discussing where to move to. Danny Huertas the manager came and ask us to move. I told him “yes, we are moving” he turned around within seconds later (while I was explaining to my nephew who didn’t know why we were ask to move when there was so many empty tables) in fact every other table was empty.. he still came demanding rudely that we had to move now. when I asked “why the attitude” he then called Gwinnett county police to have us remove. I’m still very confused as for the reason why that happened.? I urge management to Please take a look at the camera of that night and explain what did we do wrong for cops to get called, and embarrassed us, humiliate us in that way. I also wanted to take the time to personally apologize for my actions after the fact, I was so mad and frustrated because we never got an explanation, that I lost my cool. I pray Danny does not get fired over this but instead get training on how to manage difficult situations, instead of being the one to creates them, and learn how to provide better Customer service. I pray he learns how to make customers/people in general feel valued, and not degrade them. Also I really hope he never makes anyone else feel the way he made me and my family feel that night. I am very sorry to the whole staff that was there that night and anyone’s kids who was around to witness my foul language in the midst of my frustration, I sincerely apologize. Wish I could’ve apologize in person but I vow to, never to enter a Dave & Buster’s location again. At least in the...
Read moreI have alot to say here so give me a minute.
First, when eating out we have forgotten this is a service industry. Establishments are to service the customer with some semblance of good or preferably excellent customer service. This should not be a thing of the past! When I patronize a restaurant or establishment it is NOT my responsibility as a customer to take on all the gripes you, the server, bartender, waitress, or waiter might have with capitalism, your wages, work culture, personal life and/or etc. I came to Dave and Busters in Lawrenceville to watch the UGA/GA Tech game. First, I chose to seat myself at the bar. The two workers that were there were engaged in conversation with one customer to the point where I thought the bar and seating area might have been closed. Closed meaning no patrons could sit there, or receive service since they were not at all interested in that. I had to ‘politely’ interrupt to get their attention. Once done, there was no introduction, name given..hello, my name is such and such and I will be serving you, do you all want something to drink, no silverware; utensils were not given, just nothing but dryness. We ordered mixed drinks, no water was given or suggested. The appetizer plates were dirty. I had to ask for new ones, the food came out cold, cheese dip, chicken and fries COLD. The servers who brought the food out had no idea where they were bringing the food too. I mean there was absolutely no extra help or suggestion given for eating at Dave and Busters for the first time in years. I was hesitate to ask for ketchup for the fries so I let that go which imho should be given or suggested once you order French fries. I ordered the boneless chicken. I wanted a wet rub and a dry rub, asked if I could have both, my order was taken as if that would be the case but I only received the wet rub and when I asked about the lemon pepper I was given seasoning in a little container as if I wanted to toss my own boneless wings. I actually left the minimum tip which was generous and left a note...
