The sale was definitely saved by the EXCELLENT customer service of Tiarra M!!! I was unfamiliar with Gezzo’s menu, so I went to the website and clicked on their menu PDF. I wanted the brisket burrito that was advertised, so I called the restaurant and a young man told me they discontinued them. I was confused because the website still promoted it. I decided instead to just get their standard burritos. I ordered a few and was blown away by the total. Their website advertised their burritos as $7.75, but the young man rung up each burrito at over $10! I couldn’t understand because the website clearly stated the price, but the young man said that they went up on their prices. I am from a time when stores honored the prices they advertised. I did not understand why everything on their website was so wrong. The young man decided to ask Tiarra to step in. I was about to just call off the order, but Tierra’s professionalism and kind demeanor won me over. Customer service is huge to me, so when someone goes above and beyond the call of duty, I have to shout them out and make it known. Tiarra listened to my concerns and personally apologized for the non-updated website and assured me that she would let her supervisors know and she retook my order personally. She demonstrated leadership, calmness, kindness, and most of all, understanding. I decided to order the meal anyway because I truly applauded the way she handled the situation. I GIVE TIARRA FIVE STARS!!! I wish I could give the store five stars, but the restaurant STILL has not updated their pricing which is misleading to customers. It’s an unprofessional look that I hope gets fixed soon. I also hope that Tiarra gets the recognition that she deserves and her company should treasure her because she is a gem of an employee that you don’t see every day. Tiarra, if you are reading this, you are a SWEETHEART and I hope you carry that same sunny smile and great attitude to work with you every day because you add such value to your work...
Read moreUpdate: unfortunately I have to change my raving review. I've been back to Gezzo's about 3 times since my original visit 2 months ago. Yesterday being the 3rd. My daughter requested Gezzo's for dinner so we stopped in for a bowl and I decided to try a burrito for the first time ( I usually get a salad). Well we placed our orders, my daughter first, and her bowl was passed to the topping station my burrito soon followed. I walk to the topping station and my daughter says to me eeww flies. I glance through the glass and there are flies flying and landing on all the toppings! The young man is trying to shoo them away but one lands on my daughters open bowl un-topped bowl. I ask the young man to trash it and make another one using fresh toppings from the back. He goes to start remaking her bowl and I gesture to him to cover my burrito first because the flies are ridiculous. He folds it over in the foil and starts her bowl but a fly soon quickly lands on the exposed part of my burrito! My daughter and I both look at each other and say nevermind. I let the young man know we no longer wanted the food and we walked down to subway instead which was fly free. I know the employees had to have been battling with the flies since before we walked in. Why wasn't the food covered accordingly? Why are flies landing on toppings you're getting ready to serve to your customers okay? I don't understand. It was both disappointing and disgusting...

Read moreI went in around 9pm. There were 3 people working, the two men were nice and helped but the girl working was not pleasant at all. She acted like she couldn’t speak when spoken to. For a moment I thought she just didn’t speak but when I corrected her for making me queso instead of guacamole she decided to speak to her coworker, I guess complaining about my correction. When I asked for a side of guacamole, she picked up a small cup and I asked is that the only size, and she picked up another cup, then I said is that the largest and she picked up a bigger cup! No words at all, she did not speak not once to me smh. The other guy working spoke to me and said would you like a large, I explained this is my first time here and I don’t know what the sizes are but that will be fine. He said we don’t have lids so they will have to use two of a different size cups and that was fine with me. She then proceeded to fill them with queso and I let her know that I asked for guac not queso. But the fact that she was the one serving me could not open her mouth to talk was rude. She was rude to the customer before me and acted like she didn’t want to be there. The two guys communicated and provided better service but for my first time there it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The store was messy and I am assuming it was short staffed or just a rush before closing. Overall, the food was ok. I am sure if I came at a different time, the food and experience may have...
