I am not one to leave reviews so for me to leave a review it has to really be an experience!! My family decided to come to Wendy’s after church. When we pulled into the parking lot we saw another couple walking in. When we came in to order the lady at the cash register was far from polite. I said hello and she stared at me. We ordered our food; she said not a word to us other than what dressing do you want? When I went to get ice for my drink the machine would not work. I walked up to the same lady who took our order to ask for some ice. She argued stating that the machine did have ice. When she realize that there was no ice in the machine she snatched the cup out of my hand along with the rest of our cups. She put three ice cubes in each up. When we went to get drinks from the machine the drinks were also out. My husband went to get her to fill up our cups with drink. She again was unhappy that he was interrupting her phone time. When we went to get our food they had to go back through the whole bag of food because they couldn’t remember which was our order and which was as the other couples order. We final had our food and we were seated to eat. When my brother n law pulled his saucy nuggets out to eat he was short nuggets. When we politely asked for more they questioned our counting. They also charged us for sauce that we had already paid for.
All in all, wow would be an understatement of how our experience was. There was no urgency or motivation to please the customer. They were more worried about the music in their AirPods and their phones. Their customer service needs to be revamped. The three stars I did give go to the manager. She was doing a great job of putting out the fires her staff started!! She was polite, kind, and wanted to make sure that the costumers...
Read moreI work in a shopping center and have only short breaks to get something to eat. I decided to get something a little more expensive and high quality than McDonald's. Wendy's.
Biggest. Mistake. Ever.
I worked for 3 years in the food service industry, and I try to be patient and understanding with employees. You don't control the timers, you can only work with the staff you have, I get it. But when an employee is just being a terrible employee, I know. And every last person working at your Jonesboro road store in McDonough at the Home Depot shopping center I came into contact with today was a terrible employee.
It took ten minutes to get up and order. Five minutes to get only half of my order. The tenders had to cook, so I pulled up. Again, I get it, so I patiently waited. I ate everything they gave me while waiting 15-20 minutes waiting for 4 tenders. At this point I'm late back for work, but I get my tenders with a short "sorry for the wait" that was dripping with attitude. I scarf them down and run in to get a refill of my drink.
Coke machine is not working. No tea at all. I go up to the counter to get a refill. Not one, not two, but THREE employees make eye contact with me, ignore me, and help customers that came up behind me.
I never got a refill and I spent five dollars more than usual for a lunch that was riddled with horrible customer service. I suggest customers avoid this location until management can do some serious house cleaning. After all, if you treat quiet, patient customers that way, you obviously don't...
Read morePlaced a takeout order in the lobby. The cashier was kind and patient with us because after a coupon didn't work, we changed our order and had to have stuff changed. I'm guessing it was her shift lead that came over, young white girl with brown hair, but she had to call her boss to get her pin to take off an item or two. During this, she saw the cashier check the time on her phone or something and instead of waiting until we left to say something, she rudely reprimanded this girl as if she was a child, not a coworker. It was beyond unprofessional. I've worked in restaurants for over 20 years and I've never seen something so poorly handled. Also she had her boss on speaker and they continued to discuss that in front of us. She asked who it was and the girl held the phone up and said " do you want to tell her your name, who you are.?" So petty and you can tell she is abusing what little authority she has and that it obviously hasn't been for long. My boyfriend and I felt so uncomfortable and upset. I only hope this girl isn't a permanent manager or shift lead or that place is going to go under. Also the lead didn't even acknowledge us about why the coupon from the app didn't work, and if she had taken the time to listen to us instead of trying to show dominance, we only needed 2 items voided, not the whole ticket comped. She mentioned " in front of guests.." to her teammate yet she had the worst customer service and made us extremely...
