This was our first time trying Korean BBQ where we get to prepare our meal for ourselves. We brought another couple along so it was a new experience for us all. Let me start with this - it was a cool experience. I think my preference is for someone else to prepare my food for me, as they hold the accountability for the seasoning. . . and their experience means it will taste consistent every time. We ordered the Combo Couple for $69.99 and we were most pleased with the amount of meats we got. There was an assortment of beef, chicken & pork. It came with 2 salad options, fried rice (they prepared it), a sweet corn dish, and mixed vegetables. We didn't like the spicy salad, but the salad with ginger dressing was delicious! We had to prepare the mixed veggies & the sweet corn & cheese dish on the grill, and they were also very tasty. The rice was great too! Less than great were the tiny pickled sides like kimchee or others. Normally, I love items like these, but they were just ok. Nothing grand. Now for the meats - there was plenty, and we had fun cooking them. The only challenge was seasoning them up properly. We couldn't seem to get the thin brisket to tate like anything. But the marinated meats turned out well with a little salt and/or pepper added. Overall, the food experience was fun & exciting. The customer service experience left a lot to be desired. Our wait person spoke too fast, seemed frustrated when we asked questions, dropped the food off with us, gave little to no direction/ instructions and then disappeared for the rest of the meal. When we needed more cooking utensils, vegetables, or something, we had to wave over another waitperson to assist us. I was disappointed in their service experience most, especially since they added on 18% to your bill automatically. Pay us to bring food out that you cook for yourself! Ha! The hilarity...

Me and my wife have been at this restaurant before and it was decent. Therefore we decided to take out our family to the restaurant three adults and two children for the Korean barbecue for three adults. One of the all you can eat and the kids that do not eat anything because they are picky only eat steamed rice while we were there they made us pay for all you can eat for children exam no exceptions if one person gets all you can eat everybody has to get all you can eat even the kids

I remember the food being a lot better in the past than it was today they seem to give you the worst cuts of meat

They served us this corn cheese that they put on the griddle after it was cooking for a little bit. We decided to try it and it was turning rancid. We told the server what the problem was. We didn’t expect to get anything out of it. We were just letting her know, and her response was it was made this morning , and walked away with no care in sight.

Obviously, this part of the restaurant is going down because we were the only people sitting in the Korean barbecue section on a Friday night at 8 o’clock. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anybody for three adults and two children. It ended up being $170 they include tip , which they don’t really do too much other than bring you drinks, you cook...

Me and my party were not that satisfied with probably about everything. We all decided to try this place out since we are all fans of Iron Age, and since this is closer to home, we decided to give it a go. When we got there it was not all that busy and it was on a Friday night. After our server asked for drinks and brought them, it all went downhill from there. We had stacks of used plates and cups EVERYWHERE so we had barely any space to eat, AND the server never ever bothered to pick not 1 dish up. From there, it took 15-20 mins after eating our meat to wait on the server to tell us what else we wanted after trying to get her attention. After we waited and waited and after eating rice (they serve NO rice cakes here, sad right?) and salad and noodles we were all basically full at this point. Towards the end, the server had the NERVE to say that we will be charged a LEFTOVER FEE because we didn't eat all of our meat and food, WHERE THEY DO THAT AT? AND then they charge a ridiculous 18% tip because we had like 8 people in our party. Everything was overpriced and service is veryyyyyyy slowwwww and the meat was not tasty I left UNSATISFIED!!! If you want some good Korean BBQ drive to the other side of town and go to Iron Age, now that place is...

My son is into the Narutu phase and as such we celebrated his 9th birthday here tonight. He ordered the shiyo ramen, and my husband and smallest two children got the hibachi. We also ordered the Mexican roll and spider roll. Everything was fresh and tasty! My son was soooo happy with his ramen. I tasted it and it tasted like rubber to me...but his 9 year old tasted buds thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. They staff are wearing masks, and seats are social distancing...meaning it was just us and the chef at the table and other guests where the same. It was about two other families in the hibachi and two family in the Korean BBQ dining area

We are so happy Miss Gogi has opened a second location right here in Henry County! Miss Cleo has made sure our experience is stellar every week we’ve come. The marinated meats are balanced and unbelievably well cut portions. The sides are evolving, fresh and classic. The entire experience is a lesson in true hospitality and the experience of another culture without having to travel north. Reasonably affordable but with quality like this, I really wouldn’t care. My new favorite spot and as I look around at the crowded, Tuesday night dining room, I’m not alone.
