We've been visiting 15th Street since they were located on Hudson Bridge Rd. and they have always been amazing. Last Friday, August 25th, I stopped by and had a pint while I waited on my to go order. I didn't even check it because we've never had a problem. Got the food home and it was a disaster. One pizza was supposed to be a meat lovers with spinach and mushrooms added, no meat lovers just veggies. The second pizza was correct but was very light on toppings. On top of this, it tasted BAD. We called to let them know and were told that Pat would give us a call and also that our order would be replaced. My husband stopped by today, August 30th, and they refused to honor our replacement meal. The MOD also told my husband that I checked the order before I left. Why would I lie? Check out the pics for proof. We also never heard from Pat. Needless to say we are very disappointed and won't be returning.
EDIT: In response to Pat's inflammatory comments.
I want to thank Pat for taking the time to respond to my review. However, I am deeply disappointed by the condescending and unprofessional tone of his response.
Pat claims that we did not call on the evening of August 25th. However, I have attached another picture that clearly shows that we called at 8:52 PM that evening. I am happy to provide my phone bill as further proof if necessary. If Pat's employees are willing to lie about this, it raises serious concerns about the credibility of his business.
Pat falsely claims that my husband returned on Saturday. This is not true. My husband was with me that evening. I would appreciate it if Pat would refrain from calling me a liar again.
Pat also falsely claims that my husband was drunk when he did return on the afternoon of August 30th. This is a malicious and irresponsible accusation. My husband was not drunk. He was with our son, who had just been seen by the pediatrician. Unless Pat wants to accuse my husband of drunk driving and child endangerment and accuse my son's pediatrician of not recognizing a drunk parent, he should retract his words.
My 16-year-old son witnessed the entire interaction between Pat's MOD and my husband on August 30th. According to my son, my husband never screamed profanities or berated Pat's employees. The truth is that Pat's MOD was rude and changed her story multiple times.
I find it very disturbing that Pat has offered to have private conversations with other customers who have given him poor reviews, but instead, he immediately attacked a loyal customer who has been a patron of 15th Street for longer than he’s owned the business.
Pat has failed to address the subpar food we were sold and the fact that his employees called me a liar. He has only added insult to injury.
I demand the following:
A retraction of his libelous statements and a public apology to myself and my husband. Make sure to call my husband out by name again.
A refund for the two inedible pizzas. Pat can keep the money for the pint and salad, and his employee can keep her tip.
I will end this the same way Pat did:
Best of luck, I will not accept the employees or owners of any establishment where I spend my hard-earned money, spreading lies about me and my family to cover up for their inadequacies.
2nd EDIT in response to Pat editing his original post.
I've attached a picture of Pat's original response to my review. He dropped the word drunken, but is standing behind the rest of his baseless allegations. We're still waiting on our apology. Be careful where you...
Read moreWow what a terrible experience. I have been a HUGE fan of 15th St at their old location for over a decade. But my family has had two (out of two) BAD experiences at their new location. New Year’s Eve, Saturday night, we walk in 7:45 to watch the UGA-OSU playoff game. FIVE total customers in the restaurant. We sit (the only ones in a booth) and order but unfortunately have to frequently flag down the staff or go up to the bar to get refills or drinks, even though there are a total of 8-12 people including us in the restaurant. The wait staff were very inattentive. It was very frustrating. We return two days later to try again. We loved 15th St before and hope New Years Even was just an unfortunate experience. WRONG!! Our waitress, fortunately, was awesome and VERY ATTENTATIVE. My wife, son and I ordered drinks and promptly ordered our meals. 55 minutes later our food had not arrived. (I had checked “Maps” and saw that I had parked my car 65 minutes earlier- so 55 minutes is probably very accurate.) I am a local business owner myself and although I enjoy the praises I hear about my business, I NEED to also listen to any complaints so that correct changes can be made. We decided at this point to leave. Talked to the waitress who agreed that the looong wait times for the customer’s dinners has been an issue. We tipped our waitress and paid for our drinks. Spoke with the manager who offered us credits, but “Thank You but No Thank You.” If the owner of 15th St is running this massive restaurant change from a distance, hoping the change from the old location to the new one runs smoothly without their presence. This is a recipe for disaster and whoever the owner is, I believe, could nip this in the bud just by being present, working hard themselves and showing the staff how to be attentive, quick with the orders and how to take care of...
Read moreMy daughter, wife, and I were in the area and chose 15th street because of the location. We were dropping off our son for marine boot camp at the recruiting office around the corner. We walked in at roughly 2:15 on Sunday and our order was quickly taken and our drinks were brought out around 2:20. We ordered 2 chicken Philly sandwiches and one personal pepperoni pizza. Then the wait, we literally waited for almost an hour! At 3:00 the waitress came back by the table and brought us a refill and said our food should be out soon. 12 minutes later our food arrived at 3:12. The waitress’s apologized for the wait and explained that they had a big party come in. The restaurant was moderately busy but not slammed by any means. The large party she spoke of was 8 MAYBE 10 and they were there and had ordered by the time we walked in. Both the chicken philly cheese steak sandwiches had almost no cheese on them and both had at least 2 pieces of cartilage in the chicken. By this time it was 3:20 and we had no other choice but to ask for boxes for the mediocre food and leave because of the extreme delay to be there for our son at the marine recruiter’s office. We paid 52 dollars plus the tip of our hard earned money on a extremely stressful day and I couldn’t have been any more disappointed with the food or service as I was Sunday on Father’s Day. Waiting an hour for lousy expensive food is just not acceptable. I expected more from an established restaurant 20 plus years old. I’ll spend my money elsewhere...
