On Friday 4/21/23 approximately 6pm I phoned in an order to the venue while shopping in Kroger next door. The woman that answered my call was very nice and considerate. She repeated my order back, advised it wound be $26.42 and would be ready in 10-15 mins. Great and wonderful I felt. (Order was for one large meat lovers with thick crust and cheesee bread.) upon entering the store I provided the young man at the counter my name and verbalized that I was picking up a pizza and cheese bread I had ordered. The young man said the total would be $26.42 (same as I was quoted whenever I submitted it). I handed him 2 $20s waited in my change. He gave me $3.58 back. I said I’m sorry young man , you shorted me $10. He appeared confused so I did the math for him. -bill was said to be$26.32, gave you $40, expect to get $13.58 in return. Again he opened the register and gave me the same $3,58 in change. I asked again and he now says the bill was $36.42 rather than what I was told. I took my items and mived to a table away from everyone. To look. at the menu to look up prices. Found I was not provided a receipt. Went back to counter and explained to another woman what happened and they gave some the receipt. Still short on $10. I showed them the total, kid said I gave him $30 which would justify the receipt yet later Increased the price to accommodate his change issue or wanting to make some side money. To sum it up. Multiple asks to resolve and failed each time. I did finally get the correct change and was able to leave. No apology given to me . I know these kids are young but they need to take ownership of issues and correct them vs having a customer feel as though they get or were getting scammed. Hope it gets better. ...
Read moreI always enjoy marco's pizza. Placed my order this time online to feed the grands. While in route there, the email came saying my order was ready. I get there and to my surprise.I was told it was not and that I had to wait. I asked the young man checking me out was this some type of automated message?Because my order said ready. He very, unprofessionally, blew it off and was like I don't know. That was the only explanation he gave me. I stood around waiting for my order for about fifteen more minutes.When another gentleman came in for an order pickup the same young lady who checked for my order check for his order and told him it was not ready and that it would be about ten to fifteen minutes. The gentleman stated that that could not be right and as he was inquiring a coworker of the young lady said, check the hotbox. The young lady walked to check the hot box. She walked over to it and then immediately turned to me and said "Oh, i'm sorry" and pulled out my two pizzas. She also pulled out the gentleman's order as well. Of course, I was irritated and just took my pizzas and left. Please train your young people how to do their job and offer customer service. She was at the counter so she should have known to check the hot box and the young man who just said he didn't know did nothing to try to offer customer service or assist.
