Lefty's West End Tavern — Restaurant in Greenville

We came into Lefty’s for a friend’s birthday dinner. We were greeted by a manager once we came into the restaurant, and they were able to sit us in the dinning room area which had views of various tvs. David our server was well knowledgeable of all the menus (drinks, cocktails, food, etc). The crab dip and pretzel was the most talked about appetizer at our table, but the chicken nachos were a close second. I had the Garlic Parmesan wings, which were so good! Lefty’s is a really cool spot with even better service. My boyfriend and I came on a gloomy Saturday as he has been wanting to try it out. I made a rushed decision to get the club with the Mac and cheese. He got the hot dog of the month with fries. He loved his and I felt so so about mine. I told the server this and shortly after a manager came over. He chatted about our experience and made a suggestion for the ahi tuna appetizer. It made sense for what I wanted and ended up hitting the spot. Mr Carl and Table 301 strikes again!!! I didn’t think this space had another inning in them and might just be a no hitter but I’m pleased to visit Lefty’s and report back that it was an overall WONDERFUL experience. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, decor - everything was perfect. And this is not just a coincidence - one of few masters of Greenville had their hand in this. Love that this perfect location finally has a worthy owner and operator, that has given it the chance it deserves. Cheers to new beginnings and I have a feelings that Lefty’s might just be lucky...
