While the establishment offered an exceptional ambiance with outstanding cuisine, attentive service, and delightful musical entertainment, I observed some concerning inconsistencies in customer treatment. One of the proprietors, a bald African-American gentleman, demonstrated noticeably disparate behavior in his interactions with different patrons. His warm, personalized introductions and attentive service to certain customers stood in stark contrast to the markedly reserved and distant treatment as a black female I received compare to others . The discrepancy in hospitality, particularly regarding seating arrangements, suggested potential bias in customer service excluding individuals that made reservations .

While I fully acknowledge that proprietors may have established relationships with regular patrons warranting more familiar interactions, this situation was distinctly different. The disparate treatment occurred between customers who were equally unknown to the establishment, making the contrast in service particularly troubling.

Despite the venue's numerous merits, this differential treatment was troubling. Business owners would do well to remember that patrons come from diverse backgrounds and professional spheres, and superficial judgments about their status or importance can be both inappropriate and misguided. While I would recommend this establishment for its ambiance and culinary offerings, the inconsistent standard of hospitality that I noticed in his act excluding the other staff. It's worth remembering that appearances can be deeply deceiving in today's world. Like Clark Kent, who appears as an unassuming journalist but is actually Superman, patrons who may seem ordinary could be influential business leaders, community figures, or professionals of significant standing. Making assumptions about customers based on superficial judgments not only reflects poor business practice but also demonstrates a failure to recognize that people often maintain modest public personas despite holding positions of considerable influence. This is a follow-up to my previous post. This review covers my visit on Valentines Day. Fortunately, I arrived early enough to get good seating for the band performance. The wait staff immediately approached to take drink and food orders. I was very pleased that the Van Gogh Acai Blueberry drink was available. In addition, Coupes had a special Valentines Day menu, which we really enjoyed. Finally, the band was great and very energetic. I'll definitely be back @

I went for the second time on a Friday night with my girlfriend. The places has really great vibes and the music is always on point. The food is okay for a bar/restaurant. Not a big variety but sufficient for the venue. On my first visit we were able to get table seating, where service was good. On my last visit we sat at the bar, where service was subpar. During the first visit I had a drink that contained Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka. After the first drink, they ran out of the Vodka. On my second visit the drink was still on the menu, but the bartender said they haven't had the Vodka to make the drink in awhile. Seems to.me the drink menu would be updated to remove that selection. Additionally, the bartender was inattentive and rude. I asked for a drink and a glass of water. My new favorite spot… Coupe’s Corner provided the perfect setting for a fantastic date night! The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant were just right and inviting.

What truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond, checking in on us several times to ensure we were well taken care of. Their attentive and friendly approach added an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere.

Not only was the service outstanding, but the food was truly exceptional. The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection, and the appetizers, especially the loaded hummus and buffalo chicken dip, were simply amazing.

To top it off, the drinks were expertly crafted and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our date night. Each cocktail was a perfect complement to the delicious meal and the romantic atmosphere.

Overall, our experience at surpassed all expectations. The combination of exceptional food, delightful drinks, attentive service, and the ambiance made for a memorable date night. I highly recommend Coupe’s Corner to anyone looking for date night, ladies night or just a night out; this is the perfect setting.
