When I pay over $5 for a drink I don’t expect it to be all ice! Since I wasn’t planning on drinking the drink right away (as I’d just picked up breakfast and this golden turmeric drink I planned to drink at dinner time) I decided to take the ice out so it wasn’t all watered down later. To my surprise I discovered that there’s not even half of the actual drink in the cup it’s all ice!!!! When I called I asked exactly how much of the actual drink is put into this 16 oz cup... (I’m pretty sure Starbucks has a recipe that says exactly how much they are suppose to put in each cup! )Yet she didn’t seem to know she just kept telling me “you can request light ice or no ice... which was not the question I asked so, I again asked how much of the drink do you put into the 16 oz cup............. still no answer I’m again told that they just put in ice if you don’t want alot of ice you can order no ice or lite ice and we can make it that way for you! Well considering I’m now at home it’s a bit late to order no ice or lite ice isn’t it! So I breakout my handy measuring cup too see just how much golden drink is in my 16oz cup and I find that there is only 6.5 oz of actual drink and given the fact that it took me 10 minutes to drive home I’d say a bit of ice melted in there so they prob only put in what 5-6 oz in a 16 oz cup! that averages out to be approximately a dollar an ounce! So is this a concentrate that need extra ice to mix it? And if so why didn’t they say that and if that’s the case why would you be allowed to take less ice would that amount to just syrup in a cup? Needless to say people if u order this drink order with no ice and then get a cup of ice on the side! Because while it’s a golden drink and it’s pretty tasty it’s not gold $1 oz would be a bit much! I gave three stars because The drive thru cashier was very kind and courteous, and the fact that I’ve been here before I know the drinks are always good it’s Starbucks after all but now I know whatever drinks I get I’ll always be ordering no ice or lite ice! Cause these days (especially now) I want my...
Read moreI'm not usually one to complain but I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed after my visit this morning. I chose to go inside to order since the drive thru line was insane. I placed my order at 7:49am and got a breakfast sandwich and a caramel Frappuccino with extra caramel. It only took a couple of minutes for me to get my sandwich. And then I stood there and watched as everyone that had ordered after I did get their drinks before me. The lady who made my drink had put it in the blender and then forgot about it. I was then the only customer in the store and it wasn't until another employee asked the lady about the drink in the blender. She then realized she forgot about it and then finished my drink. 14 minutes after placing my order I finally got my drink. There was no extra caramel and since it sat in the blender, it was not longer icy, just watered down. By the time I got to my work, which is only like 3 minutes away from this Starbucks, my sandwich was barely warm. I understand that they were busy and again I'm not usually one to complain, but maybe have more employees scheduled to work so you don't get so behind? A watered down frapp and a cold breakfast sandwich. What a great way to...
Read moreOrdered ahead through the app. Once I arrived I set curbside check in (because I forgot my mask). The order said it was ready- Waited 10 minutes, nothing. Reset curbside check in, waited another 10 minutes, nothing.
I went in, without a mask, my order was sitting on the counter, cold. Grabbed it, went out to my car to change my tip to zero. I couldn't because someone in the store watched me pick up my order and checked it as soon as I picked it up. Shady.
They were not busy, other than drive-thru and even if they were 20 minutes should have been enough time. Nor sure if the employees didn't feel like going outside or wanted to punish people for curbside? Was my first time trying it since it was my first time forgetting my mask. So I don't know if that's typical for curbside.
Summary- they made me wait 20 minutes while my order got cold, then accepted and processed my order in the 30 seconds it took me to walk out to my car so they were watching me.
Last time going to this...
