Amazing Service, Clean Space, and Fantastic Food! From the moment I walked into this bagel shop, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. Tucked indoors away from the street’s hustle and bustle, this place is an absolute gem. The atmosphere immediately stood out—clean, well-lit, and surprisingly spacious for a bagel shop. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in with your laptop to get some work done, there's plenty of comfortable seating without feeling cramped. The decor is modern but warm, creating an inviting and relaxed vibe. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the outstanding customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was genuinely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They take the time to greet you with a smile, offer suggestions if you’re undecided, and make sure your order is just right. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about the customer experience, which made my visit feel personal and pleasant from start to finish. Now let’s talk about the food—because it’s honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The bagels are fresh, chewy on the inside, perfectly crisp on the outside, and made with clear attention to quality. I tried the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and added smoked salmon—it was heavenly. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients fresh, and everything tasted homemade in the best way. I also grabbed a cinnamon raisin bagel to go, which was just as impressive: subtly sweet and perfectly baked. What’s also refreshing is that the prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portion sizes. You get top-tier food and service without the inflated costs you often find at trendier cafes or chain spots. It's a bit tricky writing this review. Rarely have I been this well take care of when the experience did not satisfy. I've been eating bagels and home fries for a long time and can confidently tell apart an excellent bagel from a mediocre one.

Deerpath however deeply disturbed me because it has over a thousand reviews with a perfect 5.0 score. Yet my gastronomic experience was diametrically opposite. While I stopped for a Bagel - maybe their ratings are based more on the rest of their food items.

However, I must disclose, that the owner graciously refunded my money when the food served did not satisfy me. Their customer service was without doubt excellent.

While they have a wide variety of bagels including a jalapeno bagel and a jalapeno-cheddar bagel, I found them to be surprisingly 'thin' in nature, and what felt like 'not fluffed' as you can see in the picture.

While the home fries were reasonable in size, and spiced up oh so well with the cajun seasoning - they were too dry and and basically deep-fried potato wedges - instead of grilled. I ordered mine with green pepper and onions but both of those were copped too fine and since the potatoes were deep-fried and not grilled with the peppers - the vegetables slid off and sank to the bottom as separate ingredient.

I had a lot of hope from this establishment but sadly I was only left with stellar customer service. I do not understand how so many of the reviews extolling this place for large-sized portions delivering high value for what you pay. Ed, this combination would have cost you...

I've been searching for a truly great, all-in-one spot as I was visiting the area, and I can officially say the search is over. Deerpath Bagels & Burgers isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience. I came in expecting a good bagel and left feeling like I'd discovered a true community gem.

First, the bagels are phenomenal – the real deal. They have that perfect texture that's so hard to find: a satisfyingly crisp outside with a soft, chewy inside. My bagel was delicious and packed with flavor. But what really blew me away was looking at the menu and realizing this place is so much more. My friend got a burger that looked incredible, and we saw people enjoying everything from fresh smoothies and boba tea to massive wraps and breakfast platters. My niece’s kids tried Bobba tea. When asked, they liked it so much they wanted to rate it very high!

The real magic here, though, is the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with huge smiles. The service is incredibly fast and attentive, but what stands out is how genuinely friendly everyone is. They checked in on us, brought over a sample of a muffin they'd just baked, and made us feel less like customers and more like family. The place itself is bright, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with great music playing in the background.

For the amazing quality of the food and the top-tier service, the prices are incredibly reasonable. You definitely get more than you pay for. Whether you're a local or just driving through Hamilton, you HAVE to stop here....
