American Deli — Restaurant in Hapeville

Very rude cashier and owner/manager. Also misleading. We tried to go there for lunch and my husband wanted the Italian sub, which shows on their menu that it comes with ham, turkey and cheese. The rude cashier told my husband that it only came with ham. Then my husband asked if he could have that sub made hot and the rude cashier said they could not do that it could only be served cold. Then an older Asian guy stood next to her so she asked him if they could make that sub hot and he just shook his head. The rude cashier said "he said no" Very rude, uncaring........other places do accommodate the customers and this fool refused. My food was ok and it wasn’t a long wait. But they should really clean up. Also the sprite in the drink machine was out for the 2nd time that I’ve been there. I told the young dark skinned cashier and she just said ok with a careless look on her face. Note to you, just hear me out.. If you don’t want to be there then you don’t have to. I’m sorry that God blessed you with a job after you applied maybe you should just quit and let God bless someone else who really needs a job. That line of work isn’t for everybody. When you enter the restaurant, there’s a big heavyset woman leaning on the cash register like she is tired to greet you. She’s leaning all over the counter and the cash register as though she’s tired and she can’t stand up on her own. When she hand you your cup she sit on the counter and point at it, as though she’s telling you to pick it up yourself. then I asked her about the drinks that they offer you with your combo, “she said “nobody has time to make the drinks so it’s just not there”.
