Well that was a experience.... I ordered a pizza to bring home for my son and I because my husband is in the hospital near by. I love about 45 mins away and knew id have to reheat, no biggie because I loved the food 3 years ago.... First i tell the manager ( I'll explain how I know that in a bit) my name he tells me he don't see a order, then I'm looking at my phone for a order number and he's like oh sorry I over looked you. No biggie . Then I see a phone laying on the counter I sign my receipt, and tell him somebody left their phone. He snatches the phone up and says oh my God that's a doordashers phone. He then runs outside with the phone trying to find the Dasher, then I guess he couldn't so he comes in with it and calls the last number called and explains the phone was left, "I'm the manager I'll lock it in the safe brother". Mind you the whole time I'm still standing right there I can see my pizza is done. He hangs up the phone walks over to the safe then goes into the other girls register she asked him what he was doing he said I need the key for the safe. Then the phone rings and he answers the phone and tell them to hold on. Then he goes back and puts the phone in the safe. Then he picks up the phone and says hi what can I get for you and starts taking somebody's order. Meanwhile I'm tired I'm stressed and I just want my food. So I asked the girl that was helping other customers if she could please just get me my pizza when she got done helping her customers because I'm pretty sure he done forgot about me. That man never acknowledged me once I told him somebody left the phone he acted like I wasn't even there no more, 🙄 then the phone rang and he got completely distracted and then he never even said another word.😒 I hope that my tip went fully to that girl and not him. Then to top it all off when I get home to reheat the food my crust isn't the crust that I ordered and the pizza was extremely chewy. 🥺
So whoever the girl was with the purple hair thank you so much for getting me my food in the middle of you having your own customers because your own manager...
Read moreUnfortunately, I visited on March 28, 2025. I did not order. I decided to walk out as a stand for one of the employees. One employee on the register started to interrupt the young lady who was trying to tell me about the specials. The young lady who was waiting on me subsequently, got kind of confused by the rudeness of this other worker (to be honest it may have been a manager). I cannot believe if this was a lateral employee, much less if this was an employee in management that such disgraceful behavior would be allowed by the ownership of this restaurant. Years of working in management has taught me that employees are never corrected or scolded in the public eye. When the employee who had interrupted the young lady who was waiting on me returned, she interrupted my order again and began to embarrass the employee again by stating, “ You should’ve led with the special I told him about.” Are you kidding me! You have interrupted the young lady twice, embarrassed her, and interrupted me, the customer as well. I had already decided what I was going to order. You would have made more money with me if I would have placed my original order before you became so overzealous with the upsale. You would have made $10 more. I hope you clean up your act. This is one reason, restaurants struggle to find footing and offer service in a manner that is convenient and expeditious. People do not want to work when they are belittled and harassed by customers or other employees/management...
Read moreI am shocked by how I was treated today by I guess the manager at Marco’s pizza in Hendersonville. We have honestly been trying to order pizza from them the last 3 days. I understand they are short staffed and I worked in fast food for years so I get it. We decided to order early today and they actually answered the phone for once. She ask to put me on hold no other explanation. After 6 minutes went by I hung up and called back. She rudely ask to put me on hold again with no explanation. I was on hold around 15 minutes this time so I hung up and called back. She ask to put me on hold again. All I said is “please don’t. I’ve been on hold for more than 15mins and no one comes back”. She explained that she was short staffed then proceeded to just lay the phone down and never came back. I could hear them talking in the background and I finally hung up and ordered from Papa John’s who was also busy but explained that in the beginning. I understand being short staffed. I own a business and I have a lot of work experience in customer service. I understand the different situation we are in now with the whole country in crisis with staff shortages.
