Not sure exactly what has happened with this location. However it has went downhill very quickly. Pico de gallo is now hand chopped and very chunky and very big. Got a side of guacamole yesterday and it was absolutely terrible it's like somebody did not follow the recipe. When pointing out these concerns to the employees they gave you a nonchalant I don't care attitude.
Also recently in the past couple of months I have ordered a catering order and it was not sufficient. Received a response from the store or from corporate... so I'm posting here now.
Disappointment with Catering Order #2240892 - Nacho Bar for 10 People Dear Moe’s Catering Team, I recently placed an order for the Nacho Bar (Order #2240892) for 10 people, choosing to cater the event rather than preparing everything myself. The price difference was only about $53, and for the convenience of having Moe's handle the order, I felt it was worth it for my Game Night. When I picked up the order, everything appeared correct. However, I am extremely disappointed with the portion sizes. The amount of food provided was insufficient. I only received about a quarter pan of each item: the proteins (steak and chicken), queso, and beans. This was nowhere near enough for 10 people. I was lucky that only half of my guests showed up because, had the full group come, I would have run out of food. In fact, I had to use extra queso I had in my fridge to make sure there was enough for the five people who did attend. I ensured my guests didn’t “over-do” it on the queso, yet it still wasn’t enough. Additionally, the steak and chicken were dry and overcooked, which seemed like a result of being prepared too far in advance. For a catering order, I expected fresher, better quality food. Moreover, only two of my containers had proper covers, and the rest were simply wrapped in plastic. This made transportation difficult, as I was concerned about the food spilling or being exposed during the journey. Read moreThey keep having my reviews deleted the truth hurts. just left this location after being told I suffered an allergic reaction to cilantro being cross contaminated in my food. I brought the food back to have either my money refunded or the food replaced. I eat at Moe's several days a week so it is typical for me to have an old Moe's receipt or bag from another location. I was approached by the manager after handing over my food behind the counter (yes they took my food back over the counter) he blatantly came back and said and I quote "you did not purchase this here we don't use these kind of bags or receipts". I was in awe, he never asked why I was returning the items or what had happened but instead he accused me in front of all the customers of bringing food into this location that came from another Moe's. I then pulled up my Moe's app to show him that it shows that I was a customer at that location on August 12th, 2017, and purchased a burrito which I am bringing back. He told me that my app which showed the address of their store number was not enough to prove I was a customer there. I asked if he could pull up my receipt for that day in which he quoted "it has been 3 days that is to many receipts to research its impossible". So it is possible for them to accuse me of thievery and fraud and make accusations against me but not possible to simply pull up my transaction. I have been discriminated against because I am a minority and these employees could care less about the outcome of this situation. We stopped here because of the free food offer for kids on Sundays which we thought was an amazing deal. We order our food and the young lady behind the counter we first saw was great. Great personality, all smiles. Overall the service we received at the front of house was excellent.
My complaints are about the food. Our entire family fell ill with some sort of food poisoning, though my daughter had the worst of it. We got through it fine, however I sat on this for a bit because I was astonished at the quality of food that Moe’s had given us. The first red flag should have been the old rice. Guys - you can tell when rice has been sitting around for a while. Also the Queso was warmer than expected and I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the culprit. The steak burrito I ordered tasted beyond chewy. My wife was also surprised at the quality of the food, considering that even the tortilla chips were old.
