Jun's Macaron Gelato — Restaurant in Hoboken

I love their gelato, however; I just wish they can fill it up correctly with the high top lids. There is this beautiful sweet lady, she works their randomly. She's kind of tall, (fair skinned)When she does it, its perfect and actually full to the top. When this other guy with glasses does it, it's flat and the lid just looks so hollow. He's not mean, I just don't know why he is adamant that it's correct to not fill it up. I'm a regular, I spend 10-27$ daily. This is a good place, nice polite staff (most of them) just speak up for what you pay for. Otherwise I would give this place 4 stars. I'm respectful, I tip fairly, I just don't understand it. Otherwise they're great! They have great homemade gelato. Also they will now Not be giving out ice packs to everyday customers , so that's a con for us people who come from afar. Otherwise, the employees are nice and professional. The nice young man with glasses on is very nice. All of them are :)

My experience here was not good. Came by the first time with my fiancé for the donuts and they were rude and pressuring us to choose a flavor from what they had left...it was regardless a good treat and decided to bring my family by for some gelato because it looked delicious. Today I went by with the fam...The gelato is okay but there isn’t much flavor to most of the options. The lady that helped us pressured us all to choose a flavor and stood there staring at us all while we were trying to decide which flavor we wanted. Horrible customer service, we tipped and tried to shake off her horrible vibes. Smh definitely do not recommend!! Especially if you are looking for a friendly and relaxing atmosphere to get sweets...still shocked and disappointed at their pressure and horrible customer...

Macarons‘ pastry parts were rather tough than crispy and soft. Matcha macaron had completely wrong balance between sweetness and bitter flavor so I didn’t like it. Pink one was a lot better but forgot what flavor it was.

Croissant donut was ok. Pastry wasn’t as soft as what I would normally prefer for donuts. It was also combination of savory and sweet flavors; as a result, somewhat unexpected taste. Feel like the one I got delivered some time before was quite better than what I got today, so maybe they don’t do quality control very well.

Overall, it was just ok.

마카롱도 도넛도 그냥저냥 무난할까말까한 수준.. 다시 사먹진 않을것 같아요.

UPDATE after a year: changing from 3 stars to 4 stars in order to sync with my rating for the one at Fort Lee location, mainly due to very enjoyable...
