Hands down the best chain falafel place! I’ve been to their original location and a few other locations in different states and they have all been delicious. I am actually surprised at how consistent their quality is across states. Now, I am confident I can trust them for a solid falafel or shawarma when the cravings hit. The shawarma plater with both rice and salad ($1 extra but totally worth it) is an explosion of flavor. The meat is tender, salty, smokey, and all around flavorful. The rice soaks up all the flavor from the meat and is a little spiced itself. The salad adds freshness and crunchiness to the mix. There are also pickled vegetables in the platter to bring a brightness and sourness to cut some of the saltiness. The platter also comes with a piece of pita which makes it more than enough food for one person. We also ordered a side of fries and oh my goodness are the fries good. They are on the salty side but they are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They are seasoned with some kind of batter that allows them to be flavorful enough on its own without ketchup or dip (though the garlic dip that comes with the fries is heavenly). It’s super garlicky (but not in a bad way), smooth, and has a consistency similar to hummus. It taste great on the fries and also very good with the pita. We also ordered a side of falafel which comes with 4 pieces of falafel. The falafel is crispy on the outside and not dry at all inside. It is perfectly moist and very very flavorful. If you like falafel, you must try the ones here! The establishment itself has plenty of tables and a gender neutral restroom.

Very bad service from the girl who takes the order, and it is not the first time for this girl. I paid for an order of shawarma on the side and she did not give it to me. When I asked for it, she said in a bad manner that it came on the same order even though the order was normal without any additions, and the same girl was working on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 10:30 p.m. I was ordering two orders of shawarma and fries, and when I ordered tahini, she wanted me to pay extra for one tahini, even though it comes with the order. When I spoke to the manager about that, he was as bad as her and spoke in a bad manner, and he told me that you must pay, so she told me that this comes with the order, and he said, “Indeed.” It is supposed to come with the order, so I told him yes, why do you want me to pay then??? He was evasive in order to defend the girl, and since I own a business, this type of employee ruins any business. This type of employee gives a bad impression to the place, and even though I live next to this place and its customers, I have never and will never visit it again because of this type of bad, sick employees.

Been going to Mamoun's and have been to all of their locations even a few that are closed now. I was going to Mamoun's the original location since they opened in the village in NYC. I live in NYC but shop in Jersey it is safer. This location is small but not as small as the original. And you can walk right in. It is the oldest falafel restaurant in New York and one of the first Middle Eastern establishments in the United States. What I like about this location are the drinks. They do not have these drinks in the city. They have a mint lemonade that my husband likes a lot and I like a blackberry juice that I LOVE! I looked on menu pages and they dont have it listed. But it is on Google. I am allergic to Tahini though I love it! So the meat is too dry for me. It doesnt seem as moist as the original location but I was not always allergic to Tahini and used to have it on my meat so maybe the sauce made the difference. All in all really great food prices and location =!

Worst Delivery service and Rude customer service. Would never call for delivery and would rather pay toll to go to new york city location. Hoboken location has the worst delivery service in the area and most rude customer service. This is not the first time they screw up on my delivery order. I always ask for hot sauce on side with my order and I did the same thing this time. When I did not find that in my food I called them up and guy started blaming me that you did not ask for it. I said how do you know and he said its not on receipt. (like receipt has recording of conversation between me and the guy who took order - and he assumes its not on the receipt that means their guy can not make mistake). He just says sorry I got you next time. I was like what? How the hell I am going to eat this food without the hot sauce? I like their flafel mainly because of the hot sauce. Any one can make pita and salad and cheak pea balls. Last time when they screwed up they send the guy back with sauce. This time he was rude and arrogant and said I can not send some one just for the sauce. I believe hoboken guys are becoming more and more arrogant because of the mamoun's brand name and they dont care about customer service. They just think people will come because of the name and hell with the customer service. I have rarely experienced this kind of rude customer...
