The place no longer looks like the pictures, I was starving all day and craving salmon so I decided to get a poke bowl, when I came in i got a nasty menu with crumbs, the salmon poke had toppings that you couldnt pick, the only thing i got to pick was the salmon. The bowl was 15 dollars and I got extra salmon for another 3 because the worker did not speak english and when I asked how much salmon I get he could not answer so i got extra just in case. The bill somehow came out to 22 dollars though because they add a 20 precent service charge for to go clients. I opened the poke at home and it was a small serving of soggy stale rice that does not even fall apart, on top were MASSIVE chunks of nasty salmon, it was cut into 2 to 3 inch chunks which you could not eat in one bite, the salmon was also all with the gray nasty part of fish that is always cut off, not served in food. There is also an insane amount of edamame, where basically that is all you can taste I was so hungry but I barely touched this nasty abomination that they called food. It is served in a container not meant for poke bowls. I am still hungry but that is better then eating that. This is the worst food I can remeber eating, if I could give negative stars I...
Read moreNo longer called Poke Sushi, must have changed owners. Was told menu changed a week or two ago, very limited options. Maybe 3 possible poke bowls to choose from, a few appetizers, and burgers. We ordered two ahí tuna poke bowls and a sushi tuna burrito which was advertised outside the restaurant. Rice was mushy and paste like, no hint of rice wine or sushi rice flavor. There was a strange flavor in the food which was coming from what should have been sracha mayo, which we love normally. Then we realized it was BURGER sauce…or an aioli garlic sauce which definitely shouldn’t have been in there. Totally ruined the food. There was only one guy working and he was genuinely friendly, doing literally every single job in the restaurant and it’s New Years Eve! So we just paid the bill quietly and left. I honestly think either sushi is not his thing or he’s new to it, but very friendly. The burger people looked happy though, so maybe it’s a better burger spot. But until there’s more help in the kitchen, avoid the sushi. My kid is on her second roll of...
Read moreMe and my friend are sushi lovers. We have tried them in different states. Florida is not known for best sushi but this place had decent reviews. We made order of different types of rolls, soups and dumping. Everything that we received was tasting absolutely disgusting. Soup was barely warm and had dry Ramen in it, miso soup was full of sesame seeds and scallions. And when we got our rolls it was absolutely disgusting at the point that we just stopped eating. Prices were not cheap but rather average. But the issue was the fish thay was obviously defrozen as well as shrimp. Every roll had California type of roll inside. Crunchy tuna was the same with a thick cut of falling apart fish. Rolls were falling apart, pieces were coming out of it. I've never seen anything like that. Another comment mentioned store sushi are usually better than that and this is exactly what my friend told me. On top of each roll they put a thick layer what is appeared to be spicy mayo, very weird looking and even soy sauce tastes diluted. Will never come...
