Arrived a few minutes early for our 6:30pm dinner reservation and we were told to wait in the bar while our table was made ready. Went to the bar and found a table. The waitress never made eye contact so I went to the bar to order drinks. There were 3 bartenders, one was actively making cocktails and the other two were just chatting amongst themselves. When I asked if they would take my order, one of the guys said that i was "standing on the wrong side of the bar". No signs were visible to indicate where i should have been standing, so I worked my around to the other side of the bar where there was a sign that said order drinks here. So the two bartenders remained on the opposite side still chatting amongst themselves and the other bartender was washing glasses and doing some other housekeeping duties, never making eye contact or asking if I needed anything. I finally left, and we went to another area to wait for our table. A while later we were seated, and the waitress was pleasant and attentive, and the menu looked to have great offerings. And while most of the dishes were tasty, the "Bibas Mixed Green" salad that I ordered was very disappointing. The menu claimed that the salad consisted of "Ewa Sweet Onions /Local Tomatoes / Candied Macadamia Nuts". But when the salad arrived at the table, there was only lettuce, a couple of shards of onion, one half of a very small grape tomato, and NOT one single Macadamia nut -- NONE!!! I don't like to send food back because one never knows what happens when one complains to the kitchen. But the entire bar and dining room experience was very disappointing. I don't recommend this place as there are many other nearby dining...

This place don't want you there, they only want military personnel dining there so that they can get government benefits. I called in and they didn't pick up, I called 30 minutes later and lady picked up sounding nice but moment after I said hello and that I had a question (with an accent of course) she put me on hold for whole 5 minutes, I really wanted to forget about it and go somewhere else but I was curious how long it'd take at this point, and after those 5 minutes she answered back saying: sorry, what would you like. Okay, I asked if they could make a reservation on which she momentarily answered only if you're military personnel or a veteran. (Mind you i live and pay not a small amount to the hotel that the restaraunt is linked to) I asked how come? And If that isn't a hotel restaraunt on which she annoyed replied: yes we serve hotel guests too. No, you serve hotel guests because that's where your restaraunt is at and only then you serve military and veterans without them staying at the hotel as their benefits, then I pulled up to the bar and they literally ignored me like I wasn't there. After I called one of 2 bartenders up after 2 minutes of waiting and by that point I was really annoyed, he very rudely told me that "I'm at the wrong side of the bar". What? It's the same bar with no signs nor blocked areas, how different is it from where I'm ordering? Okay I walked around and there was a sign that said order drinks here, after I asked him which drinks are good he gave me a menu and just stood there without even looking at me, I just walked away lol,...

Rude!!!!!!

Went to Bibas for dinner. My son was in the water prior, but was dry. We sat at the walkup bar since he could have been a little moist, but really wasn't.

Sitting in the walk up bar, you have to order to go. No problem.

We had a party of 6 and our order was $150.00. We had 3 steaks and jumbo crab.

I asked if I could have plates and silverware. She rudely came back with 2 paper plates and said you have plastic ware. I let her know there were 6 in our party and her response was, you can use the lids.

Get to our table and found out that there were only 3 plastic forks and knives. I ask for 3 more plastic forks. They had to have a discussion of how many plastic forks were given and if I was allowed to have 3 more.

Cutting into my daughter's filet, her plastic fork broke. Luckily, the bar was nice enough to allow us a few metal forks.

The staff at Bibas was so freaking rude. Fittingly, as we were finishing up our dinner, one of the largest rats I've seen in some time, ran through the place(see attached pic)..

The bar staff, very friendly. I wish I could've worked just with them. This would be a 5 star review, although my the medium rare filet was...

Was greeted at the door with a "60 minute wait time" and put our names on the list. I kid you not, within one minute of walking away, we got a text saying our table was ready. To add on to this, the person who scheduled us and put us on the wait list was Bibas' manager. How can you be so incompetent to not know your own restaurant, and how long it will take to seat a party of two, especially when there are visible, empty tables around the entry. If I was working at my Parents bar and restaurant, I would have been scolded by them for turning away customers when we can clearly accommodate them. Please, train your employees better, and obtain a more competent management staff for your restaurant. Other than that the food was great. We ordered the Ribeye and the Filet with Lobster, it was very delicious and we will come back... for the food of course, no way would we come back for the experience.

This was the first restaurant we ate at on our visit to Hawaii. We enjoyed everything well enough, however, I have to say it was overpriced for what we got. I got a shrimp bowl and the quality of the shrimp was amazing with a sweet chili sauce that really added itself well to the bowl. My wife got the Lokomoko and she enjoyed it as well. We also got the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were very good, albeit a little small. Lastly, we got the mud pie for dessert and it was pulled straight from the freezer so it was hard as a rock, I wouldn't suggest getting dessert here if this is how they present them. Overall, we were satisfied with our dining experience here and I'm sure you will be too.
