I've been here on several occasions over the years. First, just remeber its an AAFES and not a hotel shop so you do need to have AAFES privileges or be a hotel guest. So don't blame the hotel if its not up to your standard. However, you can always leave a comment with the manager if it's egregious. Second, its a great little shop that will have the majority of things you need. I think they have a great clothing selection. They also sell suitcases for the extra souvenirs and plenty of booze. Remeber there are HUGE PXs at Pearl on the Army and Navy sides. Third, the employees are people and they have bad days too. I've never seem to have a problem. So welcoming and easy to get essential rather than big super market or even the busy AbC stores ( usually price are equal or better... better especially since no tax!!) Just opened my own account to receive the 10% for hotel stay and purchases while in property!! Best deal!! Love all local gifts I always get for the ohana! a gentlemen rang me up and was super rude, like i was an inconvenience to him. didn’t say hi, nor the total price, didnt even ask if i needed a receipt. just got to the hotel today and wasn’t a great way to start the vacation. i dont care if u are having the worst day on earth, u fake it. will be reporting to upper management. the girl working there didnt say anything either, was super weird. they were just chatting away like i wasn’t there. im a local boy and getting treated like this is sickening. if you don’t want to be there, don’t work!
