UPDATE: the owner unfortunately reacted in the exact way that I anticipated, judging by my skimming of his response. It's sad how the 5 star reviews get simple, 1-2 sentence responses but negative ones get multiple paragraphs full of insults and in defensive/aggressive tones. It can't be great living with this much anger boiling inside you, constantly.

I enjoyed the food and came to leave a review, but was immediately taken back by the extremely hostile, insulting, and immature response from the owner to the 1 star review.

That was handled really poorly and isn't a good look even for loyal customers. You're showing everyone that you have an anger issue and scaring people away. Shows you can't stomach anything other than a scintillating 5 star review.

Makes me think: if there actually is an issue with my food and I want to address it in person, will you also insult me and call me names, rather than working to sort out the issue together?

Don't know if person manning this place is owner or family related, but he was absolutely RUDE!!!! He came out of Don Quijote with cell in his hand talking to someone. He enters his kiosk and proceeded to uncover the vegetable bins without first washing his hands. Common sense. Before you touch anything wash your hands! Don't pick on your customers because you're having a bad day (as he said, "shitty"). He refused to make my order and returned my money because I made a comment about washing hands.
