We were passing through on a vacation during my son's birthday and found ourselves looking for a cake. After googling around, and trying a couple cupcake shops, it would seem Ambrosia is the only real cake shop in town. We got the chocolate peanut butter cake, and it was very pretty. Upon eating it, I kept asking my husband, "what is that really fake taste, I can't place my finger on it?" It finally hit me, I believe it's that peanut butter powder that tastes nothing like peanut butter. I believe the cake may have been fine, but their pb frosting kinda ruined it. I would be interested in trying a different flavor so that I could give a proper review next time we pass through. Additionally, I hope the shop takes this as constructive criticism and works on the recipe for that particular flavor, as I've never even had a grocery store cake with a peanut butter frosting that didn't taste good, which is funny because the frosting is the main reason I wanted to go to an actual bakery rather than buy a grocery store cake. One of my kids actually asked me if we're going to scrape the frosting off the rest when we get home, make good frosting, and recover it.😳

I’ve been treated by Ambrosia since I can remember by family, friends, coworkers. But I have never gone there personally until recently and I even decided to have lunch it looked so good. So happy I did! BEST FLATBREAD HANDS DOWN- they had bbq chicken which looked tempting but the margherita was calling me and I’ve never had that flavor before. It was so good I got half of it to-go and drove it to someone I knew had to try it. I’d go back for that. Now if you enjoy sausage links, and unique ones at that, definitely try the sweet and spicy breakfast sandwich. It’s handcrafted with pineapple and on a homemade jalapeño bun- soooooo good, very filling! I loved the flavor profiles for each and so happy this place isn’t just for the sweet tooth’s out there because I am not really one. The atmosphere had a nice, open casual feel and the staff was super helpful and kind. You can tell there’s passion in this business. Will definitely be back.

Once we tried Ambrosia Bakery, we learned that we had been missing out all these years! Not only do they do their best to make a cake that fits your requests, they go above and beyond. The two cakes pictures below were a Minecraft Creeper theme (white flavor, white icing times green) and a cake based off of the hit series The Office (red velvet with cream cheese icing). They are very flexible due to their desire to make a cake that satisfies you. The next cake we get will be there red velvet/cream cheese again. It is AMAZING. Also, when you pick up your cake or just need to grab a dessert for a party, Ambrosia makes the absolute best Snickerdoodle cookies I have ever tasted. Don't leave without them!

Went in to do a cake tasting we had scheduled for my upcoming wedding. The person who scheduled our tasting was told the date of the wedding. Once we got to Ambrosia, the girl handed my mother a small, crumpled paper bag with three very tiny pieces. When we asked if there would be anyone to talk about the options and such, we were quickly told that we could just seat ourselves and if we had questions we could ask. We tried the Italian cream cake, and it was incredibly dry. When we were discussing among ourselves, a different woman comes up and immediately starts in about the cakes and asked when the wedding was. When we told her the date, she immediately said "No. We're already too busy, with the holidays going on then." I was shocked to hear that, seeing as we already notified them over the phone. When my mother asked her if there's any way they could accommodate, seeing as they were recommended, then woman said, "Well, you could try everywhere else, and if no one helps, then I guess you could come back here and we'll figure something out." So, it was a hard no at the jump, but you'd be fine to help as a last resort? What kind of business strategy is that? That's just rude. I find it funny that my sister had a cake tasting with you guys before her wedding and her and my brother-in-law were treated to a very different experience than me and my future husband. The two cakes we tried were so dry it was disgusting. Obviously communication between you and the employees needs work, as well as how you treat potential customers. Oh, and thanks for reaching out to my mother to apologize to her once you saw my bad review, but you don't have the decency to apologize to me or my fiancé. Wouldn't recommend this place in...

Our Thanks Giving 2023 cake was a disaster!!! I ordered the cake to be picked up on 11.21.23 1:30. I ordered white cake with buttercream icing air brushed with fall colors and saying Thankful. I order one pumpkin pie. I arrived picked up the cake and one pumpkin pie. I noticed the cake was white no air brush and food color leaves stuck on which were falling off....We arrived home and when we cut the cake it was like a card board box the icing was sugar icing I ordered butter cream.icing ) It was a disaster the cake had gaps so the icing was falling off. It was white icing with no Air Brushing with food color dots suppose to be leaves like fall. We had a beautiful Thanks Giving no thanks to the carless actions of this group. The girl at the front desk could not get off the phone long enough to care for customers. Another lady was in front of us and we watched the careless effort of the girl on the phone with someone. The girl kept my receipt I gave her when I arrived so she could see the order. However, a professional would have given it back to the customer. This is a total customer service disaster not caring about the customer. Usually there is a manger standing by to guide the apparently lost sheep. It would have been wise to have the manger there the Thanks Giving week. Being a business owner how can you run a business and never answer the phone? I had to go to the bakery to get my money back they could not understand how to send it back to the card? I paid $59.00 for the order. The girl at the front desk refunded me $42.00 and some change. I asked for my full refund the pumpkin pie was not that good either. Apparently they cant count. The girl at the desk kept my receipt but my bank showed I...

This bakery came highly recommended. I was told that they were known for their Italian Cream. Since I wanted a specialty cake this fit perfectly into my plans. I wanted a very special cake for my uncle's 89th birthday. I called 4 days ahead of time to ensure everything was ready when I needed it. I was asked what I wanted on the cake. I said ""Happy Birthday Uncle Ed" because it's his 89th birthday". I can not begin to tell you how much my heart sank when I arrived on Friday to find a VERY plain Italian Cream cake with ONLY "Happy Birthday Uncle Ed" written on top of the cake in red icing. There were no decorative borders, there were no flowers, leaves, NOTHING extra.....just red writing! When I questioned the look of the cake, the lady took it to the back. It came back with a very small border of thin icing. When I asked again about the sad looking cake, the lady said if I wanted it decorated I would have to come back on Saturday and pick it up. SO, if you choose to order from this bakery, be VERY specific as to what you want your pastry to look like. Don't be like me and assume that you will get an appropriately decorated cake just because you tell them it is for a special 89th birthday. VERY DISAPPOINTED FOR A BAKERY THAT CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Update -- Thank you Nic from Ambrosia Bakery for taking the time to call me about my experience. If the good Lord allows, we will be back next year for my uncle's 90th birthday and I will be calling Ambrosia for a second chance. Very professional and kind of you to call me! Thank...
