Do not move here or in any of CHS properties buildings. We had black mold growing in our apartment on Quapaw, which is also owned by them, and I developed a lifelong condition called Hypothyroidism because of it. My roommates felt sick and had bad headaches too. Management didn’t do a single thing about it and we still had to pay rent that month. The pipes were leaking through the walls, flooding the front room and bathroom several times, ruining a mattress and tv in the process which they did not compensate for. They would not put a bedroom door on one of the rooms and we had to use a curtain, our kitchen faucet was broken for two weeks before it was fixed and usable, and so many other maintenance issues went unfixed. I didn’t even have ventilation in my room and got told it would be put in months later and until then we had to use fans to get air circulating just so we could breathe. We didn’t even get half of our deposit back after thoroughly cleaning. They will not take care of you in the slightest, please stay away and live...

Water leaks everywhere and every time it rained consistently for the first 4 months of me living here my ceiling leaked, which she conveniently didnt tell me until I signed my lease. As I type this I havent had any air conditioning in a solid 14 days, since August 25th several attempts have been made to contact the manager and all have been ignored. Flat out, ignored. Will not even respond to me. No one is made to pick up after their pets. Doors are unlocked constantly. The lock on my door is broken and always has been. Overall just a terrible place to live. If given the choice I'd have never decided to stay here. I sincerely hope whoever reading this doesn't either.

We moved in July 2022 and absolutely love it here!! The doors are secured-no key no entry. Plenty of cameras for added safety. The remodeling that has taken place since we have moved in is phenomenal!! The building seems to have come to life! Hallways have been repainted, all the apartments have been remodeled, etc. The state and national flag outside has really perked it up!! And the upcoming renovations to the auditorium is exciting!! The new owners added a laundry room in basement which is extremely helpful! The tenants get along and it is like a family atmosphere! People here are friendly.
