I'll get right to it. It's my first trip to David's. I thought it was going to be like a good ole mom and pop burger. I would have rather ate McDonald's or Wendy's. Which I can stand. I ordered a cheeseburger combo. No cheese. No problem I think the girl was new. Because she needed help with the gift card. Yep. It was free. That's how bad it was for me to complain. Ok, so no cheese, it wouldn't have melted anyway. 2 little clovers of leaf lettuce. I asked for no mayo for me . Apparently no mustard either. I think what happened was accidentally put on both and scraped it off. Asked for grilled onions. There was an attempt. But a bad one. The meat, Horrible. It was so dry and tasteless. It been cooked for awhile. A dry towel would have had more moisture and flavor. The French Fry girl no cap just a ponytail. Couldn't tell if she had a hair net. Speed of service was good. It should be when everything is cooked in advance. Nice size portions on burger and fries. But I have some family in Texas. I ask them where's a good place to eat. And I know better. Never fails food is not good. But the portions are big. Anyway I have 4.38 left. Hopefully that's enough for an icecream. I never right reviews. And it really pains me to so. Im sorry. Because I was in the Food business for 30 years. And I think it's probably the hardest business to be in. IMO this was really bad. And I always welcomed Rants like this.... I might add it was a to go order yesterday at 1:57pm. And they were busy. But not to the point of serving such a product like that. Also I live on Buena Vista. Less than 4 minutes from...

Man these guys was a breath of fresh air. Being in town for a emotional reason the ICU of our niece we went inside to eat and I was blown away. Being a restaurant owner myself I wanted to just watch and learn. You can see the culture from the first impression as you walk in door. Smiles, greetings, everybody killing it as a team, good moods, clean everything, suggestion for menu items, team work, managers actually in the kitchen working with the team and just all around awesome experience. We was reading the shirt and I think he thought something was wrong I explained I had told brother this place has great culture and low and behold it's right there on the back of his shirt. We treat customers like family and have fun and something else. He turned around so we could read it. People are sending gift cards to our family and David's Burgers is top on the list.

They even come around and ask if everything is OK and can I get you a refill, then ask are you about ready for some ice cream which is free and even made a wring scope for Togo customer but saw the ice cream all, over my brother's face (he loves ice cream) and brought it over and said this is for you because I stead of throwing it away it looks like you are enjoying yours. First Class from the time you walk in to the bathrooms.

I walked out and told my brother watch this I said Merry Christmas and every single employee turned around and said it back it and I was like wow they got it going on and even a customer said hey..Merry Christmas to you sir. People in this town have been the nicest I've ever seen being 6 hours...

Saw this place getting rave reviews online while searching for places to try in Hot Springs (vacation) and really wanted to visit! Customer service is.... fine. They weren't rude but they weren't extra friendly or helpful either. The location gives 1960s vibes which is really cute. The "extra" fries is a nice touch- they walk around with huge bowls asking if you want more fries.... my only issue is that they put them on this small strip of wax paper(that they give you when you place your order) on the table. Kinda weird. Hope the table is clean. Lol The fountain root beer i had was probably the best thing i had, next would be the fries(after i added salt) and least favorite would be the burger because it left MUCH to he desired. Somehow flavorless with too much garlic powder(or something) at the same time. It was an odd taste yet tasteless... strange. And the bacon, jalapeños, and cheese I added did nothing for the burger. I had to check to see if they put bacon on there because I could not taste it at all. Lots of people say they love this place so atleast try them for yourselves. But I do notice a pattern with the likes and dislikes for this restaurant. Lol!😉✊🏽 I was the only fly in the...

After a long day of traveling, we were ready to just get the kids fed and in bed. We were all tired (and possibly a little cranky) and just ready for the day to be over, so we stopped into David’s. Immediately, we were excited by the prices we saw. $6 and $7 meals for the kids and the adult meals weren’t much more expensive. We have 4 kids, so feeding 6 people can get expensive and this was definitely welcomed! The restaurant itself has a cute 50’s diner vibe to it. I half expected the staff to come out in roller skates. While we were waiting for our burgers, the waitstaff came around with fresh French fries to munch on. Our food was out not long after. Everything was, fresh, and delicious. After we were done eating, the staff came around and asked if our kids had made their ice cream yet. Which, we were immediately confused about since we didn’t order any ice cream. They then took the kids (the ones 12 and under) to the u e cream machine to fill up their own ice cream cones. It was such a “sweet” surprise for them and for us! Of our whole trip, it was probably one of our family’s favorite places we ate at the whole time we were in Hot Springs.
